I agree with WC, see you are starting to be "assertive" and there was nothing he could say about it, because that would be like calling the kettle black.
See how "now" you are allowed to get in touch with him? I wouldn't be calling personally, I'd just send a text night sweet all is well and that's it...PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

I think that WC and CW have been giving you good advice. As a husband for a of a long time I would always call in the evening for a chat if I was working away from home. Even just to assure myself that everything was OK.
Even though I know you will follow your heart you need to start acting more from logical process.
He is treating you as if he you were is mother- not calling for days and then making a catchup call.
To me this indicates he is no longer thinking of you as his partner.
He will be back sooner than you think and you need to confront him about his actions. He is not looking like a good bet to be a solid long term partner.Comment

All your advice is so good thank you so much! :-D... Well he called me at my friends..and sure enouph got upset b/c i was there and could " be doing other things more productive" and that it was wrong for me to spend the night at my friends b/c she has a bf and i stayed at there apartment on the couch..he did make a good point..he said " you were sleeping in a house with sams BF..so you were sleeping with another guy in the next room, and worstly im not there"..i explained i was on the couch downstairs..but he is all ****ed off that i went...1st b/c he dont like sam 2nd her bf was there....by the way its not like i have a choice they do live together...so ya he is up set but still talked to me last night..Comment

No No No
You have done the right thing. You are no longer being a doormat.
Doormats are ignored until some dirt needs to be removed from his shoes.
You need to show your independence from his control.
I know in a perfect world that you should not have to do this and that he would respect you because you put an effort in and are compliant- however if you carry on as you are he will just wipe his feet on you,
The old saying comes to mind- Treat them mean and keep them keen.Comment
