"Hi. Just wanted to say I'm back from my "motorcycle trip" At the "encouragement" of my doctor and boss I have taken thirty days "off". Had what used to be called a "nervous breakdown" in the old days. But a short four days on the bike and actual sleep has made me whole again, I guess.IN a high mountain meadow I "made peace" with God and my ex-wife. Now I need to pick up the peices and build a new life. My boss will keep me on but will have very close supervision for at least six months...I certainly don't question the "advisability" of this. My AA friends are "riding herd" on me to keep me "out of relations with the opposite sex until I "heal". Just wanted to drop a line to my friends here so they don't wonder what happened to me.

Glad to hear that things are looking better for you, SJ. Best wishes.

Glad to hear that your "real life" buddies and coworkers are keeping you taken care of. You are taking your stresses on head-first, and that's great!
We hope to hear more positive things from you in the future

Hi again. Doing "OK". Still love and miss my ex-wife but wouldn't take her back if she came. MAJOR trust issues. She keeps "testing" the waters with emails like: "I left my birth certificate and took yours by mistake. I'm sending yours will you look for mine?"SORRY HONEY! When you "bluff" you have to accept that you may get "called". Mostly I am still just "hurt" and "angry". Weather has been horrible so I haven't left on my "walkabout" yet; too old to need to prove how "tough" I am by riding in the rain and sleet. The little four day trip seems to have been "adequate"

She may very well love you and want to get back together, but when the going gets tough she will choose her daughter again. I'm not saying she shouldn't have a soft spot for her daughter, she should. It's just she shouldn't have let that interfere the way she did with a good relationship.
