    me too

I've had this problem since around 6th grade (age 11). It started right before my first period and has just never quit. It's embarrassing because it leaves white stains in my underwear so I'm always very careful about hiding it. I've looked it up before and it usually says there may be an infection but i don't see how it could be so ongoing. I mentioned it to my doctor once, because it is a rather private subject, and she just dismissed it as hormones and kind of laughed at me. Then again she wasn't a gynecologist. After reading these posts I'm glad to know that it's not just me. I highly doubt it's an STD of any type because I'm not sexually active. Sorry I couldn't help more, but just know you're not alone! If anyone else figures something out please, let me know. Thank youuu.

I have had the same thing since I was 13 since after I got my first period and I am now 23. I went to the gyno and she said its normal. There is no infections or diseases. I just recently looked into probiotics which every women should take for vaginal health. I have been taking it now for only a few days and the discharged that I had decreased 50% and that was only a few days of taking the probiotic. I have always been embarrassed because of the heavier discharge that I have but now with the probiotics I am extremely happy. My vaginal ph must fluctuate more than normal so the probiotic helps control and maintain the balance.

If you decide to pick up Acidophilus (probiotic supplement) at the store make sure the label reads Lactobacillus Acidophilus listed or L. Acidophilus.

Lactobacillus Acidophilus is a bacteria present in both the vaginal, and gastrointestinal tract; it is important in controlling vaginal pH and maintaining a healthy balance in the vaginal ecosystem.

I wanted to share my experience so I hope this helps.

I am not a health care physician so please do not take this as any form of a diagnosis. If you want to learn more about probiotic supplements before taking please talk to your health care physician.

Too much discharge??- Not any more

Ladies, i sympathise with you all since until recently, since the age of 15 ( I am now mid forties) I've had a huge problem with way too much discharge, I was utterly miserable and frustrated at on a daily basis feeling as though I had permanently wet myself due to very heavy discharge. I 'had seen various docs over the years who could find nothing medically wrong and I was told that some women just have this and its something you just have to live with, wear panty liners ( duh hadnt thought of that one!) and just deal with it. UNTIL that is I read on this forum about the lady who suggested taking Lactobacillus Acidophilus, and this has changed my life.
I cannot thank the lady who suggested this enough, I began taking 4 tablets per day ( 2 in the morn, 2 early evening) about 10 days ago and I no longer suffer from excess discharge, what I have now is what I consider to be normal.
I live in the the UK and purchased them from a very reputable health store on the High Street, you can also purchase on line.
I had tried the apples remedy and it didn't work, but this probiotic tablet has turned my life around, and given me my freedom from constantly popping to the loo to wipe myself, and being unable to wear tights or leggings or anything fitted underneath due to the damp problem.
I would recommend anyone who suffers as I did to give them a try.

well i know im younger than some of you, but im 16 and i have had bad discharge since i can remember. lately it has seemed to be getting worse. i have had no sexual intercourse or any thing having to due with the subject of sex. but it seems that if im not wearing a pad for my period im wearing a pantieliner and if im not wearing in my underwear tend to get really wet and sometimes it goes through into my jeans. i think its normal because most sites say that every womans is different but i still dont know if it is for one my age and the amount.

I am so happy that the Lactobacillus Acidophilus works for you. It definitely makes you feel 10 times better and more confident about yourself. We are women and we have enough to deal with concerning our bodies and a heavy discharge shouldn't be one of them.

I sympathize with you all. I'm nearly 21 and I've had the same problems since I can remember! I've been pestering my Doctor for about a year now and they've always just brushed me off saying it was normal. But eventually I was referred to the hospital and went this morning. They've booked me in for day surgery to have "Cervical Cauterization" as my hormones are over active and my womb is eroding I think she said?! She said it isn't a problem and I could live with it and there's nothing physically wrong, but this procedure will sort it all out anyway. She was saying they burn the inside of the cervix and this stops the glands or whatever being so over active. Finally, a solution!!

I have the feeling I have the same problem as you. I don't have AS much discharge as you, but it is excessive. I'm only 14 so I'm not sexually active at all, in case that could be related to the cause. I see some people recommend eating apples, but the thing is I'm allergic to apples so I cannot eat any uncooked without the inside of my throat becoming irritated. Could possibly apples that have been cooked (such as apple pie) have the same effect as normal apples you can buy in the fruit section of a grocery store? If so, I can try that.

But for the past year or so, I've been having discharge, but more than should be normal. It started a few months before I first got my period, and it hasn't always been too bad. Just within the past few months, it has been worse. All of my panties are stained, and it's embarrassing. Sometimes, it even goes through my panties and gets to my jeans. Some of my panties have white spots on the inside, but the outside part that is against the jeans are all dark from the coloring on my jeans rubbing off from them getting wet.

I've talked to my mom about this and showed her a pair of my panties, but it's become way to embarrassing to talk about. I'm not sure what else I can do for this. Along with the extra discharge come a smell, which can be so much more embarrassing then feeling like I wet myself.

I would love to try and solve this without having to consult a doctor at all because of my young age, but if most people suggest it, I can try. Thanks in advance for all your help

I'd like to try these tablets, I live in the UK. Do Holland & Barrett sell them by any chance? I had a look on their site and wasn't quite sure which ones to order!

                      Thanks
