    Its disgusting isnt it?

I've had the same since before I started my period. I have really heavy discharge all day, every day. I wear panty liners and I even have to wear them to bed! Luckily it doesnt smell so at least theres a bonus, thing is I know for a fact that really its a normal body thing which usually happens to random girl. I dont mean to be gross but mine comes out in great big thick strings of the stuff. EWW I know! I'm really self conscious about it because I know that I will most probably be having physical relationships soon so I dont know how my partner will react to it...

I just wanted to share my experience with you and anyone else who is nervous. And hopefully get a reassuring notification that we discharge divas are not alone in our worries lol xxx

hi, i just had to register so i could join in with this thread. I have had vaginal discharge for quite a while, probably since i was 13 before i got my period and im now 17. At first i think i had an infection because the discharge was accompanied by a foul smell. Now, however, i get so much discharge and it doesnt smell at all but sometimes its think..kinda like jelly and completely dry ( sorry for being graphic) and other times its practically like water and just seems to soak through EVERYTHING. this is a really embarrassing problem for me, i have a boyfriend and i dont want him to know about it but its hard to hide when your panties are always wet and stained. the only time i get respite from it is about one day before i get my period. so i go from having annoying discharge straight to blood.
i will try the apple thing. it might work or even just work as a kind of placebo effect. we will see. also im going on the pill shortly so i will see if that makes any difference too. i really do empathize with of you and its reassuring to know that im not alone..even though there doesnt seem to be a cure let alone a reason for it.
      stay strong x

Ahhhhhhhh finally I'm not alone! Also I'm so sad to see so many ladies going through the same nasty thing. Like a majority of you I started with my discharge problems when puberty hit. I'm almost 27 now. If I don't wear panty liners my underwear get nasty. And yet I think the discharge gets worse if I wear panty liners. I have gone through so much underwear. Throwing them away left and right. This "condition" is such a huge burden. I feel so gross all the time. Always wet. And yes, doctors also tell me it's nothing to worry about. If I don't wear a liner and don't change my underwear throughout the day, at night I have nasty wet and dried up discharge. BlahhhHH!

I am 30 and have had a lot of discharge ever since I can remember. I have always had my yearly exams and they are all fine. I even asked the doctor and she told me its different for every woman but normal. I just wear panty liners all of the time. That way I can change them to stay dry and I dont ruin my panties.

              For me...

I've found that panty liners don't really work for me. Sometimes with a particularly severe 'gush' of discharge I end up completely soaking the liner and my panties. The only thing that has worked for me is light/regular tampons. I find that if I use a light tampon and change it ever three hours or so I can keep my panties dry.

I don't have to worry about toxic shock because the tampon is usually completely saturated after a couple hours and I just remove it with no problem. The only problem with this solution is that it can get costly because I have to wear tampons EVERY day as opposed to just a week every month. However, it is worth to avoid the embarrassment I feel when I soak through my panties and a few times it was so bad I even soaked through my jeans! I have had this problem for a few years now and it has remained consistent through a battery of tests during my pregnancy where I tested negative for all diseases and infections.

Sometimes it burns or smells but normally the only burning and itching I feel is from a rash due to the constant wetness of my panties. The discharge is usually milky white and not mucus-y or thick and doesn't really smell like much of anything, its just excessive.

I have always had a very heavy and long period about 7 days total and for five of those days I have to wear super tampons that bleed through in just a couple hours. I have tried multiple types of tampons and it is always the same result except some of the cheaper brands bleed through within an hour or so. I do not know if this is at all related but it could be.

                me too...

I've been struggling with this same problem since before I started my period. It does not mean there is something wrong with you; like everyone said, different women have different amounts. I deal with it in two ways. Usually I use pantyliners, which saves my undies (cotton seems to take it the worst, microfiber undies come out of the wash clean usually though).

The other thing I do sometimes is use a menstrual cup (like diva cup or the keeper). I use the menstrual cup for periods instead of tampons because it can collect more fluid than tampons and can be left in for 12 hours since it is not absorbent (also it is reusable). The other up side is that it can be used when you are not on your period, and then it collects whatever other fluids before they come out and makes you feel cleaner. You can buy menstrual cups on amazon cheaper than from the websites (thats what I did).

Also, as to the worries about men being grossed out by this stuff, I find that they don't even notice. They attribute any wetness to the fact that you are *excited* to be with them and actually I think then that they like it! Hopefully some of this stuff helps! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one...

I have some of the same problems. It started about 1 year ago after I had a miscarrage. I am 25. I have seen 3 different doctors and they all say it is normal. It does not smell or itches its just uncomfortable. The doctor stated its bc I have not been having normal periods since the Miscarrage. Its starting to really driving me crazy. So I feel like its just something I have to just deal with bc I'm not sure if it will end. I always feel really dirty. Some days I have very little discharge and others it alot. I just dont kno what 2 do.

                      I'm struggling with this too...

I'm 25 years old and have been experiencing excessive vaginal discharge as well.
It is so worrisome at times because it's only been like this for a year. Got a pelvic exam and pap done and no infection. No smell, does not itch and I see some at the bottom of the toilet at times and usually have a lot come off onto my toilet paper after wiping. Is it normal to experience a heavy discharge past puberty into womanhood?
