Do you take a Valium everytime you go to the hospital or doctor? I sure wish I had something to take. I regret not treating my anxiety long ago, had I been treating it, I would have went to the doctor when all this started and not been scared to go. So many regrets.....

That sucks it doesn't work anymore. I understand with being fed up, I wish we would both get better. I am on day 4 of bleeding bright red, I don't know if this is supposed to be a period or what, but Im tired of it.

The "episodes" are extremely heavy, but only last no more than an hour.
This however started with an "episode" and has stayed for 4 days. I've not done this before. It very much reminds me of a period. Last night it got heavy for a few hours but went back to a normal flow. Yes it bright red and watery, will drip. I don't remember my old normal periods doing this. And my old periods were heavy at times and lasted 5-7 days.
Other than yours changing to bright red, has there been any other changes? Longer or shorter? Heavier or Lighter?
I doubled my iron dose cause Im feeling drained.

If yours is hormonal, it could improve on it's own.
My mom is postmenopausal and is 55, she had to go to doctor today due to bleeding. I swear. She is waiting on biopsy and pap smear results.
What women go through is unfair, periods are bad enough!

She does know about me, she wishes Id go to the doctor, but tries to encourage me too.....to not think the worst.
I feel so sorry for her, she has been through alot, she doesn't need this. Her doctor doesn't think it's hormones. If her 2 test come back negative, he wants to do a hystroctopy (sp?) to look for polyps. He saw no polyps or fibroids on ultrasound, but said polyps can be missed on ultrasound. But, he didn't even check her for infections which I thought was odd. Her lining was thin so he doesn't think it's endo cancer, but, no guarantees until tests results come back.
She has had anxiety all her life like me, hers is a tad better than mine, but not much. So her visit today was so stressful for her. It breaks my heart.

oh katie i realy hope you mum is going to be ok,its true about the ultrasound missing polyps, when the ultrasound is inserted vaginaly it can platten polyps,so yes they can easly be missed, and also when the endometrial linning is less than 5mm its highly unlicky thats its endometrial cancer,so thats good, fingers crossed for you mum its just a a polyp, god i bet you r really stressed atm with all this,(big hugs)and yes it is a bit odd that the dr didnt check you mum for infections, they shoul do thet b4 they send her for anything invasive, let me no how she gets on hun.xxx
