hi katie,i have just got back from having the colposcopy,and they said i have a wight patch on my cervix,she tried getting a biopsy but i have hardly got any cervix left so she could only get a tiny bit,so i have to wait now for 4/6 weeks to see what the results are,then i have to have the loop,so im still in the dark about things,how is your mum?hope you r ok.x

Why do you not have much cervix left? 4-6 weeks for results is crazy!!! They really take their time over there.
No results for mom yet.
My appt is now on Monday.

hi katei,i hardly have any cervix left because i have had lots of treatment over the years,i.e laser,loop,cold knife something etc etc so the gyno couldnt grab the cervix propley,im realy worried about this white patch tho,the reason i have to wait 4/6 weeks is becouse thats how long the biopsy takes to come back,sick of all the waiting,for some reason a cervical biopsy takes longer than a endometrial biopsy,not sure y tho,and my gyno need to have a meeting with the other gynoz to see whats best to do next,she said i have all the symptons of cervical cancer,but she thinks my cervix looks gud apart from the patch,she said it could just be minor abnormal changes,but i dont think she woz quite sure what it woz,anyway im glad you have another appand as for your mum no news is gud news so fingers crossed xxx

No results for my mom yet.
Xanax helped me today, visit went ok. I am pretty bad anemic, so I was given iron pills. Waiting on pap smear results, all we know is infection came back negative and cervix is abnormal looking.

katie we seem to be in the same boat,its also my cervix,im terrifiedwhat infections did they test you 4?and how come you got the results the same day,here we have to wait a week,hope you are ok hun,and no news is goog news for your mum,let me no what your results are from your smear,and your mums results.xxx

My moms pap and endo biopsy came back normal.
Test results come back faster here in the US apparently.
