I did the 7 days continuous on Balance Activ too. I do think it's good stuff (if a little gloopy! ) The only other down side I've found so far is that when I use it during my period it stings like mad.

I agree the substance does seep out of the vagina a little ... i havent used it on my period thus far, but that was a question i wanted to know. Wheather you could actually use it on your period. So thanks for stating that

Yes, I've used it 2 months running now on my period. Messy and stings a bit, and only helped lower the PH a bit, but still better than nothing.

Well i can get penicillin free from the clinics but that doesnt work, and they dont give this out free which ACTUALLY works (at least better than the penicillin)! Well thats the NHS for you!!

I am very supprised to hear, that the milk sugar does not do it for you. We had a practical trial made, and all the women suffering from bacterial vaginosis said, that the BV disappeared or got much better. Some but not all reported improvements on yeast infection and dryness.
Are you sure your dosage is sufficient? LadyBalance has a dosage of 1,2 g, and even most users do not need that much, in the beginning of the cure it may be need to use two / day. If you use a powder, 1,2 g is quite a large amount.

I am pretty sure the dose is enough....I have also tried ladybalance and it did not work for me.

Yep, pretty positive it is BV. Got diagnosed in August and did my first round of metro which eliminated the problem for several weeks. then wham back again! I do have the vad smell afte sex but it is just not constant.

How is the fem-d working for you?? It hasn't done anything for me so far and I only have 2 pills left in my bottle, which makes me very depressed.

Also, for the ones using the Molkosan....When you use it does it give you a yeast infection or burn the skin off the inside of your vagina? It is doing this to me but I am not sure if its causing a yeast infection or if it is peeling skin coming from inside me....Are you sure this is safe to insert vaginally? I mean it does work great for getting rid of the smell for the day but I have to use it every day and I wasn't sure if it was safe. I dont want to do something that will cause a yeast infection on top of the BV also...Please let me know if this happens to anyone.

I think I might try the vitamin E 400 IU orally...I am a little scared to try this though as someone said it was dangerous to take vitamin E but I am so desperate.

Why can't doctors find a cure for this infection??????????

Hey, im from the Uk as well. And im buying mine from Boots for i think £9.99. I actually dont think its that expensive. Taking into account how many months ive been suffering. And the medication (pencillin) the docs kept giving me wasnt actually working. Im so glad i found and tried this. Using the first tube has cleared up 90% of the discharge and the smell has gone. About to insert another tube .... Also apparently you use it for 1 week only, then after that, you can use 1/2 a week which is optional. Ill defo be doing one a week!

Ive just googled it, and suprisingly i dont think they do.

Maybe you might have another product available in the US .. simialr to this. You should ask your pharamsist and see what they suggesst before spending $$ on shipping

No, I haven't been diluting it... Never thought about doing that but that would make sense. Do you think it would still be as effective though? It does look more like peeling skin than yeast, so it was worrying me a little bit. Does it stop working for you after a while? I have been using it for about a week or 2 now and was just wondering if I will become immune to it if I use it every day...
