I would love to move to australia, Us americans go to mexico a lot for vacation and such.. get locked up down there, unless you are military, celebrity or such, good luck to you. I spent a month in a tijajuana jail for public drunk.. My family didn't even know where I was. When I got home, there was an investigation into my dissapearance. -

Let's Put It This way...
Reading on your circumstance, if it were vice versa, and your husband spent 3 months in a cell with a lady who has been w/o a partner for a while and slept with her occasionally, would you want to know? How would you react?
Remember, Love conquers all. And whatever is left in the dark will eventually come out into the light.
Do you feel condemned at all? Guilty? Out of rage and anger, would you tell him the truth if it benefit you in a situation or will you carry this to your grave? Up-date us and feel free to confess here, i understand your fear.
I'll pray for u!

1 MONTH - for being drunk in public? There should be more than an investigation, that's torture in itself for just enjoying yourself.
I think that we have to find out more about the Country that we are travelling too and their rules pertaining to those sorts of things, Travel Agents should be made responsibile for such.
And, as for living in Australia? Well, your welcome here
Got to say, we do seem to have it very easy, in lots of ways.

if you really "loved" your husband ,you would of been worried about what was happening to him not about your lady parts being touched by your husbands friend. i am so glad my wife is not like you. you should feel bad. pray your husband never finds out because if i were him i would leave you so fast your head would spin. unless they were tortureing and starving you, you knew you would go home eventually, but now you have created a new prison one that is made up of guilt.Comment

if this is real then you could sell your story to the national geographics channel's show, "locked up abroad". i have watched it alot and most of those people focus on getting back to their families...not on making out with their fellow prisoners. did your husbands friend take advantage of the situation, was it mutual, so many questions....as for the comment about men in american prisons turning bi-sexual to get relief....NO..., some men might get raped, but very few willingly go down on another man. maybe if your locked up for life but definately not in a few months.Comment

I want to make note, that it is possible that the threader is in fact a "hoax" if not she would have returned by now.
And, 3 months? No, discussion about therapy? Government checking into what happened, it all seems a slight bit un-real.. quite frankly....
As people say here, unless proven otherwise a troll...
I think we should be looking more at the person whom responded that actually experienced 1 month in gaol overseas, for being drunk? In public, personally and reply to that person...
Just my thoughts.

Thanx guys for you're many replies! and i 'am sorry i reply this late! I had to take a brake form all this stress and haven't been online at all!
The fact is that the story is true.. We found out that they did want my husband and myself in 1 cell but due to communication we got separated. There were to many cells flooding with people and it was originally a prison only for men. I found out cause we were investigated privat and seperatly. I found out i was gonna spend my time with another man when i was waiting in prison. The only people we got to "talk" with were the prison guards and they didn't speak a word english! My husband was locked up in the last free cell they had near the office, he thought we were all put in single cells.
I haven't told him yet... I guess i am just to affraid! Yes i know i cheated and its to late to feel bad about that. The thing is that if you are in a dark cell not knowing if its day or night i guess things just happen. We were cuddling up in 1 bed cause of my nightmares and i guess the couple of times it did happen it was more to feel safe?
It was more something that happened without giving it some thought. We did it unprotected so the risks of getting pregnant haunted me after the last time. Every illness i had it went true my mind...Comment

First off, nobody has the right to pass judgement on you for this situation, and it is completely unrealistic to put this in a black and white box of "did you cheat". Life is hardly ever that clearly defined.
You were detained in a foriegn country, seperated from your loved ones, and had little, if no communication with the outside world. Those stresses alone put a person in a sort of survival mode, and would only be natural to reach out for some sort of comfort.
This has nothing to so with loving your husband, getting your private parts touched, or needing to beg for forgiveness. Your story is a personal struggle that you faced, and only you can work out how to get through it.
But unless anybody here has been through that type of situation, and if the story is true, they have no right to bear judgement of how you reacted under severe stress.Comment
