No pain, but then again I've been masturbating since I was about... 11? I'm not sure but I started exceptionally young, of course I also knew a lot more about sex than anyone else my age, even when I got older and everyone else around me had done it, they had experience but I had the knowledge. I never had the oh so horrible "talk" as it was freely discussed in my household, mommy never kept anything from her kids, when we asked she gave us honest answers.

19, new years this year (I'll be twenty in the end of may) I'd been dating him for about a month and a half, yes that's pretty early especially as everyone I've dated before I easily blew off, but it just felt right, I was okay with it. Of course, after doing it I think people seriously put too much weight on "virginity" just doesn't seem as significant as it did before, though my bf absolutely loves that he's the only one I've been with. Maybe it's a male thing lol.

I was 21, and was raped.... I highly suggest NOT having that be your "first" -- I don't know what age I would have been given the choice....
I don't know what the "right age" is - it's a very personal thing.... and it should be with someone that you care about and on your own terms - oh, and "safe" --
You'll know when you're ready, and don't let your age make you think that there's something wrong with waiting.Comment

I first had sex when I was 15, I was just about to turn 16. It didn’t really hurt and I never noticed any blood because we played around a lot before we ever actually had sex. I’ve been with the same guy since and it just past 4 years. I don’t remember exactly where but I think it was in our living room one day when my parents were gone. I couldn’t imagine having sex with anyone else anymore. None of my other boyfriends ever made me feel like I would be comfortable in a long term relationship with them, nothing like my fiancé.Comment

Overall it was good. I was 18, with a best friend turned boyfriend (kind of) at the time. His room was in the basement of his family's house, so we had a lot of privacy.Hello,
i was just curious to know how was your first time sex.
at what age did you have it?
where ? with who? did it hurt? did you bleed a lot.
i'm 22, still virgin. and i'm unexperienced when it comes to sex. i just know what i've heard/read.
when do you think it's too soon/late to lose your virginity?

It doesn't sound ideal, but it was. He was someone I could trust very much. I knew our relationship wouldn't last, but our respect for each other and our friendship would. Three years later, I can say now that I was right.
Before we got into bed together, he made sure I was comfortable with the idea that he would be taking my virginity and said that at any point I could change my mind. We talked everything out a bunch of times and eventually it led to the night I'm about to describe.
We got on top of me so he could easily control what was going on. He slowly made his way in, but not all the way. Every time he would proceed further, he would only push inside me a little and ask me if I was okay before he did anything else. While this was happening I can't say that I was really "hurt", but I remember feeling discomfort. I think I expected it to hurt A LOT, so when it didn't I remember thinking "oh...that wasn't a big deal. Why did I wait this long to do it?"
When he "popped my cherry" that was when it was a little confusing. It was very uncomfortable and extremely satisfying all at once. I don't mean satisfying as in orgasmic, it just felt like a weight or pressure had been released from my body. He came (in the condom), shortly after that.
I did bleed quite a bit immediately, but it turned into small spotting soon after. It was like an initial rush of blood, and than it slowed right away. My period back then, was much heavier than the amount that came out of me, so I wasn't worried.
I was a little sore the next couple days, but that was the most damage. Honestly I feel very lucky to have had such a smooth experience.
Now as for your other question, there is no "too late" to lose your virginity. I happened to lose mine at 18 because I found the person to take it.
Only lose it when YOU ARE READY. Whenever that time is, it's the right time. I do feel some ages are too early, but 18 and up is fine to have the responsibility of having sex and everything that comes with it.
You seem very curious, but not confident and ready. Maybe trying some stuff on your own would give you some experience and make you more comfortable with yourself and your needs. You can learn a lot about what you like before you start having intercourse (whenever that may be).
I never shared my story before, but it was about time I did. I remember being in your position, wide-eyed about the idea of sex with a 1,000 questions running through my mind all day long.
I genuinely hope you can take something from my story. Good luck to you. =]

I was 18, and it was pretty ridiculous. We'd been fooling around for months but I moved to college and we finally "did it" on the floor of my dorm room on a weekend when my roommate wasn't there. I didn't bleed and it didn't hurt but I'd been sexually active with myself (masturbating is fun, kids!) for over a year before that and I was always an active kid (running, climbing, horseback riding), so I had thoroughly broken my hymen already.
I got lucky - he stuck around
(6 years later, we just bought a house together!). I do think that I wasn't ready for sex when I was a teen and I'm glad I waited as long as I did. I think that "too young" depends more on state of mind than age, but I'd agree that in general, people under 16 are too young because they simply can't understand the consequences of sex and pregnancy the way older people can.
