I was 24 which I thought was a good age for me. I didn't feel pressured, in fact I made the first move towards it.
We tried doing it the night before but he had some "technical difficulties" so we just cuddle naked all night. Thinking back that was the best thing that could happen and took away alot of the anxiety.
The next morning we tried again more successfully. I was on top which wasn't such a good idea. It hurt more than I had expected, though I had been masturbating for over a decade before this, but there was no bleeding. If it hurts the first time, it will most likely continue hurting for some time after this (I mean next time you have sex.).
He had no idea I was a virgin. I think it would have been more stressful for him had he known. But this is totally up to you!

Have fun and be safe but only when it feels good to you.

I seem to be just about the only one who didn't lose her virginity to a boyfriend or a husband. We were not in a relationship and dare I say had just met... Still, I knew right away that he was a wonderful man and very worth my virginity.

Someone you know is still definately a better option!

        I beg to differ!

My first, not a G/F but a good friend. She taught me quite a lot.

Being a virgin is horrible. I can't help but feel that if I had lost it during my teens I would have been so much more confident and have believed in myself more.

Instead I had to feel lonely and isolated, as though the whole world was having sex but me, until I was 25.

The grass is always greener on the other side ladies. Its better to regret something you did than something you didn't do...

I lost my virginity when I was 21. At the time, I felt like I was ancient, but given how positively it worked out for me I definitely made the right decision. I went to the birthday party of a guy I'd been friends with for the past few months, we hooked up at the party (though didn't have sex). Afterward we were like "Hum, I guess we like each other!" and started dating. We didn't actually have sex till a month later, though we experimented a lot along the way. It hurt a little, but only for a few seconds- I bled a TON though. Our relationship eventually ended because I had to move away, but we're still friends and I think back very fondly of it.

I had just turned 21. Had my 1st real BF. He was sweet. he and I had gone away for a weekend with 4 of his friends. On the way her asked me if I wanted to get a room just for us or I could share with the other girls (I did not know them really). When he asked me I kind of knew what he was getting at. When the time came it was a bit awkward, it did hurt but by that time I just wanted to get it over with. I bled ALOT but was otherwise fine after. We did not stay together long though. I was very affectionate and playful. Him not so much. Turns out many of his friends thought he was gay. I still don't know. I do wish I had waited till I was with someone I had more of a connection with but I was sick of being "the virgin". It was many years until I learned the true pleasure of sex. Until I was with someone who had the patience to let me have the confidence in myself so I could let go and have an "O". What a revelation that was!

I was paranoid about getting someone pregnant and vowed not to have intercourse until 18. I had to wait until I was 20, almost 21, to finally go all the way. It was during a very intense but very brief relationship with a woman her early to mid 30s. Sex was incredible and of course I was excited that someone older than me was interested in me like that. But I grew suspicious when I couldn't reach her at certain times of the day and she always refused to go back to her place. Turned out she had neglected to tell me she was married.

My first sexual experience of any kind took place many years before that. I think I was 14. I liked to listen in on the conversations older kids were having about sex and I picked up some ideas that way. One day I was upstairs in my room with my girlfriend watching TV. We were sitting on my bed with her between my legs and her back and head resting against my chest. I was caressing her and got the idea to take the petting to a new level. I had recently learned that girls also masturbate and wanted to see if she'd let me rub her.

She was apprehensive at first but I told her I'd stop and leave her alone if I couldn't make her feel good in the next few minutes. I started off by kissing her neck and slipping my hand underneath her shirt to slowly caress and massage her tummy. Eventually my hand slipped underneath her panties. It was kind of dangerous because my Mom was downstairs cooking dinner and my door was halfway open. We would have heard if someone had come up the stairs, but we had to stop early anyway because my girlfriend was getting too vocal. I made it up to her a few days later when we were alone.

A few weeks after that we were up in my room again. My Mom was out shopping for a few hours. My girlfriend was bottomless in anticipation of another fingering. I was gonna do it facing her, laying on my bed in front of her. Well, I put two and two together and figured that if guys enjoy blowjobs more than handjobs then maybe using my mouth instead of my hands would get her going even more. I was getting her in the mood by slowly kissing her legs and running my fingertips across her skin. She wasn't expecting the oral and jumped a bit when I landed a big smooch right on her labia but there wasn't much protesting and a few minutes later she came harder than ever before.

Playing with her thighs and legs first apparently trained her in some way, because after that if I was doing anything to her legs even if nothing sexual was planned she often ended up trying to shove my head against her crotch.

As much as I like intercourse, maybe seeing how much pleasure a woman gets from oral and having years of 'eating out' before I ever had proper sex are why nothing gets me drooling more than the sight of a juicy kitty begging for a good licking.

I think I was 19. It was not important enough to remember exactly.... I do not wish it had been more important. It was no big deal, kind of fun, somewhat embarassing being naked with someone and having no clue what to do. I wouldn't have minded doing it more often and younger instead of having to come up with random objects that worked as dildos until I had the ability to actually buy sex toys without parents knowledge. Sex has never been that big of deal or important to me. The person can be important. Doing it with a specific person can be important. Otherwise it is just fun.

I lost my virgirnity to my boyfriend of a littler over a yr and a half. I was 18 and he was 20 and we'd been dating since the end of my jr yr in high school. We had fooled around and done just about everything but actual sex prior to. when it happened It was on the floor of my college dorm room( i was a freshman). He had never really pressured me but after 2 yrs without sex i could tell he was losing his battle (lol).

We were foolig around again when i finally just told him to go ahead. He was aprehensive cause he didn't want me regretting it but he did it after i gave him full permission.......

It hurt like a ! At one point i couldnt go anymore and he pulled out immediately and held me while i cried for like 5 mins after that because of the pain. He kept wiping my tears and telling me he loved me.

we tried again the next day with me on top this time and it still hurt. but the pain wasnt as bad and it felt much better soon enough. when all was said and done we laid there and he told me "thank you". when i asked him what for he said "for gving him such a precious gift. :-)" after that he went in the kitchen and made me dinner as a real thank you.
all in all i do think you can do it too early cause i was waiting until i was at least 18 to lose mine for the sake of a just in case (pregnancy). But you should wait until you find that right person. to lose it to someone that preoccupes your mind like a mental disease and can tolerate you for everything that is you and expect no more. Plus confidence is a must. I have all the confidence in the world....until i take off m clothes and its a "dont look at me!" moment lol.
Make sure its someone you love, or at least trust whole-heartedly. wait for it, theres nothing wrong!

I haven't lost mine yet and am planning to wait until I'm married. I don't think there's a specific age at which it's too late or too early to lose it, but I think it's best to be married first. That way you don't have to worry about him leaving you the next day, not caring about you, or having not been mature enough for it to matter. Many people think it's impossible to wait that long, but I think it's going to be worth the wait
