The Living Tantra is coming to your area and I think is on the web, that might be an interesting exploration. I lean to the Skywalking Tantra which was developed in the US and also draws on Native American and other traditions. Might open a new door?

    Thank you, on all accounts,

      My Age

I am 47 years old and live with a wonderful, kind and gentle man. He is very quiet when it comes to intamacy and I have asked questions but he just gets very quiet. Not sure if I am making him feel uncomfortable so I thought I would start to search on the web.

We have been together now for almost 4 years and well things seem to be in a bit of a routine and I am trying to figure out how to shake things up a bit in the bedroom.

My guess, and purely my guess, is that he may be somewhat uncomfortable in openingly talking about it. I'm quite sure he has very definate opinions and wants, but his past sexual history may have been such that it's not an easy subject to open up to. It's also possible that his wants may be different than what you've already tried to get him to talk about and is afraid of embarassment or conflict.

I did like WC's suggestion on the Living Tantra. I have a glancing familiarity with the Tantric philosophy and that's something I'm thinking of trying to get my wife to think about. That may be a starting point.

I think Rcoryus is in that range. Not sure how old SinisterUrge is, we've a few others who pop in now and again that I think are right aroung there. We need the balance of, ahumm, our more mature thinking here.

Why not do a thread search? There have been several on that very topic.

              How Do I Do It?

              Hello WC,

I am very new here and I have no clue on how to do a thread search or I would.

Could you please advise where I go to do this?

              Cheers,

This is the sex page. At the top just above the list of threads there is a brown bar that says:
Threads in Forum : SexForum Tools Search this Forum _

Select the search at the right hand side and type in what you are looking for. You might also just go through a few recent pages.

Well that turned out weird looking but you get the idea.

Unfortunately my husband just turned 50 and has lost what little he had.

                    Hi Theresa,

Same here just turned 50 and he thinks he is so old but it's not the case. I just wish I could get him more motivated or open his mind a bit more.

                    Cheers,

Motivated is a key word. I think my husband is lazy when it comes to sex. As long as he gets what he wants, when he wants (which is only about 3-4 times a month) he is a happy camper.

I make him happy in bed, he should do the same for me.
