Just curious...how many men view pornography while masterbating?

Maybe I'm naive but I was surprised to hear that my husband was still looking at porn (he's 33.) It's not like this is affecting our sex life, but I just didn't believe him when he said it was that common.

Men are visual. Most of us can't reach orgasm by self without visual stimulation of some kind.

If he wasn't using porn then he'd be running a porn movie in his head. None of us can masturbate without fantasising but whether it's on paper or in your mind, there isn't any difference really. Yes, married men enjoying porn is not unusual. It's great that it doesn't bother you and perhaps you could even talk to him about sharing it with him. He'd love that!

Actually this isn't true. Using something I read, described in a book on tantra, I have essentially cleared my mind and masterbated to orgasm. It works quite well.

For many men, and more women than people will admit, porn is simply the medium to arousal. There doesn't have to be any attraction or feeling of lust for the pornstar, but the act of watching others be sexual is fairly arousing for most people.

Personally, when I would watch porn, I would think of my SO and I in the position of the pornstars, and that used to turn me on very much. Admittedly I haven't watched in some time, but it's different for everyone i'd imagine.

Porn isnt a threat - the men don't watch porn and think 'Id like to do HER' they are usually thinking 'Id like to do THAT to my woman'. They are indeed visual, but from all the men Ive spoken to about porn, they have almost ALL (with the exception of a few single somewhat juvenile fellows) said that they think about their significant other during masterbation! My wife and I have been together for over 20 years. I look at porn while I masterbate alone. She knows that I do it. Sometimes she is ok with it, and sometimes not. Sometimes she has looked at it with me. I look at magazines with pictures of full figured women. She is petite. I thought my hubby liked the girls/women in the porn movies to at first. too he always told me the same thing u were saying that he wants me and visualizes me while getting off. I didn't think it was true at first but. Now from what you said and what i was reading above. i will give him some slack lol I just thought he liked the girls or they were hotter or better than me or skinner but he was just getting ideas.
