I guess it depends on the relationship a person has with their husband as to why they would say no to sex and if they loved their husband why would they say no. There could me many reasons why a woman would not want to.
I know if I gave into my husband and gave him sex all the time when he wanted it then I would be spending the entire day doing nothing but that LOL!
If he had it his way it would be 5 times a day every day and even at odd hours of the morning. I have 4 children and young twins as well as work night shift and well quite frankly I am exhausted by the end of the day and sex all the time when he wants it is not something I want to give each and every time regardless of loving him I feel that it is not something that is a duty that I have to do as his wife whenever he wants it because as a man they always seem to want it more than women do anyway.
Other reasons could be that the woman may not be happy in her marraige and put off having sex, could be having an affair , husband could be an alcoholic and just be put off being intimate, might be exhausted from working all day, etc ,etc.
I think it depends on the couple and the relationship you have as to why a woman would say no to sex with her husbandComment

midnight madness
I guess when 2 people live together they get to know what time of day and when the other will be in the "mood". Surprises are always nice, I'm not totally against pleasuring my guy at 3am,but it could make me grouchy the next day. I wouldn't want him asking at 3am on a regular basis. Usually when a partner is not wanting sex it is usually a sign something else is going on in a relationship....or depression or stress. etc...
It is my right as a human being on this planet to say no to anything I don't want to do at any particular moment......except ofcourse paying taxes.
I wouldn't turn down sex on a regular basis, but hopefully my spouse/bf would be understanding once in a while. I'm thankful my libido is healthy so that's not usually an issue in my relationships.

Put it like this...
suppose you're angry at him for something
and he, as if he couldn't care less about your
feelings asks for sex.
You feel if he gets in arm's length you will
be charged for murder.
Suppose you are very tired, or need to study
or prepare a document, or don't feel well...
There's a reason.
And if more women asked for sex,(as many
women do) and he had a similar situation,
he would say no as well.

Nonsense
I just read this "can't pleasure by other methods" what on earth are you talking about. Men and women may self pleasure are you implying otherwise. It is never a "duty" for either. Both should try and please the other but it is never a "duty"that was clear for me,
but the problem in a marriage that it is almost impossible to be both in the mood for sex at the same time.
at that point, if men have the urge for sex, it is hard for them to not have it,
it I think it is for us much easier than for them,
especially in conservative cultures like mine where they can't pleasure themselves by other methods.
so at that point it becomes a duty for a wife to satisfy him, there is no where else to go.
In my opinion rejecting your husband , even in a very lovely way and he seems understanding to you that would affect the relationship.
he will really appreciate it if she agrees to wake up at 3 a.m to have sex with him with a good attitude.

Why should a woman push herself to have sex if her heart's not in it? How in the world would that be fulfilling sex?Comment

Corintians 7:3-6
Every Christian or Cathlic Read from some translation of the Holy Bible this is from the King James version.
"The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control" (1 Corinthians 7:3-6).
It is a give and take relationship. This one's for you Houswife, is not only part of your culture. "Corinthians" is filled with does and donts of sex.Last edited by inlovagin; 10-20-2007, 08:29 AM.Comment

When I was younger and so busy with children, I was not always in the mood. I am sure I said not tonight dear more than my share of times. I recall so well he used to say, honey some day you are going to be sorry when you want a big hard **** and I am not able to give you it all the time. I recall I would laugh to myself and say yeah, like sure. BUT when I was horny and wanted him he always would do me. A woman has her way to do that anytime she wants to. I would many times perform and have sex when I was not in the mood but he would get me in the mood. The problem for a woman is she has got to be brought in the mood and a man snaps his fingers and he has a great hard on.
All our hot sexual parts are inside and they need to be made juicy. Just by thinking about it will not do it. Now if he would have stood in front of me and told me how he was going to do me I may have been more willing. Either way once in a while I would ohhhh and ahhh and fake it like the rest. You know count thrusts until he got done with the dam thing. I would be thinking, Come on honey, I have a TV program to watch...Kick off and give me a break.
Now I find he was right. I am sorry but Mother Nature has also given me the power to bring that man to just where I want him......And I do....
Should a woman always have sex when her husband wants her to...I would say NO. Some of the time yes but it has to be a two way street and sometimes the heat leads to the bathroom floor in the middle of the day with three kids wondering why Mommy and Daddy keep flushing the toilet......You need the hot heat.....Don't always force it....Comment
