NO, masturbation is an acceptable act for both women and men.

Here in the U.S where men and women are supposed to be considered "equal" in many ways, there always exists hypocracy. For example, men and women are supposed to earn equal pay. Not!!!
I am a research scientist/math and scientist professor with much more experience than many men I work with, however many of these men earn more money than me because I am a woman. Not Fair!!

Also, in a marriage, it is supposed to be mutual for a man to sexually please his wife and visa versa! Years ago, and this even applies here in the U.S.A. men were supposed to be sexually pleasured by their wives exclusively and wives were not supposed to have an orgasm , nor enjoy the sexual experience, thus many women "only had sex to please their husbands and to have babies."

I have read recent "case studies" here in the U.S.A where a husband wanted sex and his wife said "no, not tonight honey, I have a headache or I am tired." Rather than respecting the wife, the husband had sex with her anyway!(disrespecting her boundaries) and the wife phoned the police claiming "rape" against her husband! The husband had to serve jail time. "NO" means "No" even within marriages in the U.S.A.

Masturbaion is healthy for both women and men. Medical documentation states that when men and women masturbate it relieves sexual tension. Also, when men masturbate, it decreases their chances for prostate cancer. I feel that Masturbation is O.K. PORNOGRAPHY is not O.K!

Hello housewife-

It has been my experience that different cultures and religions have different opinions on this topic. Even within the different cultures and religions themselves it can vary in opinion.

I believe a women has a right to say no to her husband or anyone else. To be forced into a sexual act against one's will constitutes rape in my opinion as well as the laws of this land.

I must state this however, if one partner (the man or the wife) in the relationship is constantly refusing sex thus rejecting their partner, it is a very destructive action. No one wants to be rejected all the time. One things for sure and two things for certain most people will get what they want or lack even if it's not from their spouse. Even if they have to consider divorce to do it.

Likewise, It is great to have a discussion with you as well. Anyway, the literature I read written by some medical doctors state that masturbation is O.K, however I agree with you that it does cause depression. I think that it may cause depression if masturbation is abused and used compulsively and obsessively like any addiction. If used in moderation masturbation is supposed to be healthy, a sexual tension release and supresses prostate cancer

Meditation

Since many of us women are care givers, how do all of you meditate to unwind and escape from the daily pressures of work, family etc...?

As for myself, I reside near a great deal of wineries, the ocean, hot mineral baths, massages etc...I enjoy the massages, mineral baths, Water therapy, swimming laps helps me a great deal.
Also, the spiritual sector of my religion, the mysticism and a strong belief in G-D helps me as well!

How in the world could anything that housewife said go to the extreme of spouse Rape. Yes women have the right to say NO but housewife said why would any woman want to say no to there husband. To me she has never given any impression of feeling like a slave to here husband. She speaks as if she truly admires her husband and he gives her everything she desires. So she in return gives him everything that he disires. To me that sounds like selfless and unconditionaly love. What is wrong with love like that. I thought that the American dream somewhere in it had the "pursuit of happyness." Marraige should be the joining of two and happyness for both. If you are married and all you are insterested in is pleasing yourself and not pleasing your spouse. Why are you married? What is the point? You can be selfish by yourself.

So life is not fair. Society speaks of equality but it is not there. So what does that mean wives dont have sex with there husband because it shows society that women have the right to say NO. 2 points for society and none or the husband. "Sorry honey, I dont care about how you feel or pleasing you sexually, I am worried about society, I am too tired tonight for sex because I spent all my energy on society.

In some cultures and religions women do not have the right to say no because men and women are not considered equal. If a women has to have sex against her will....like it or not it is what it is.

This is the second time one of your posts to me has read as a personal attack. I gave my opinion. That is what this forum is for. You can have a difference of opinion without attacking mine. Always show respect and agree to disagee and move on. I have advanced education as well. I know it does not invalidate everything someone else thinks or says. Nor does it give me the right to be rude to someone if they do not agree with me. You quoted me, you used my words, then you threw insults at me. Your little disclaimer at the bottom of your post does not exempt you. I am not your "honey". It is not my concern if you care about how I feel or where society needs your energy. I submit if you don't want to give me your energy then don't waste it on negative post such as this one. Don't you dare judge me or call me selfish. You know NOTHING about me!
