To me it seems more of a cultural issue. Too much of society still believes in old myths... women feel with emotion, men think with logic, therefore feelings are a feminine thing and Real Men (TM) should not analyze or acknowledge theirs because they aren't supposed to have them in the first place.

However, all humans have the ability to reason and to feel, and the reality - perhaps the uncomfortable reality for some people - is that women are just as capable of logic as men and men are just as capable of feeling emotions as women. So while it's a good idea not to overanalyze everything, for a man to deny the fact that he has feelings is also unhealthy, and part of the reason for society's dysfunctional state.

Man is that ever right! Just go to some parts of Europe - the feelings there are totally different than what you see here (U.S.) for sure. In many places for instance the naked human body is not displayed with the attempt to sexually entice, but only to display what a beautiful thing it truly is or just show it in the natural state. I've seen entirely nude commercials with men and women in the middle of the day in certain areas of Europe, and it's nice knowing that not everyone has the hang-ups that many Americans do. It is a Society/Cultural issue... Why should anyone feel shamed of their body, it's natural functions/desires/etc...? I've never really understood this myself.
On the same note, the whole women are supposed to be this way and men are supposed to be that way... in many cases IS cultural and or Nurtured (being raised with a certain belief - that was passed down in many cases without good reason).
There are some differences however - It's been proven that women (in general) have the unique ability to multi-task, where we men don't typically have that ability. Does this mean they don't have the ability to use logic? Does it mean we don't have the ability to show feelings? Not at all... That, as you stated is another cultural holdover from days of yore, when many common misconceptions abounded.
