The cucumber trick is what I did in the beginning, too! This was also one of the things my husband and tried. We found that the dr pepper bottle could actually be easily inserted while I was on all 4's with the bottle (bottom end first pushed towards my anus and into my vagina at the same time. My experience if you can accommodate a fist the bottle fits just fine its just larger and you can't manipulate it like your hand so you have to manipulate your body instead. After a month or so of the 20oz bottle we moved up to the 1 liter bottle. It was more challenging but also very satisfying when finally inserted. As far as things left inside me while I did household things I actually used to use water ballons or raquet balls. Both are easily insertable when lubed, though the raquet balls stayed in easier. Cucumbers are dangerous in there as they have chemicals that attack the wall of your vagina, put a couple of condoms on it
