IMO insisting on fidelity and denying your SO sex is a form of abuse and in some states denying sex is grounds for divorce. many attorneys offer a free initial consultation to allow you to see if you want to work with them and them to see if yours is a case they would want to be involved in. Why not contact one or two and get educated about the legal process in your state? You have a touchy situation with your health and employment concerns combined with having a child in the middle of this.

I don't know what to say about what your wife may be thinking, I know a number of lesbians and women who are bi. Lesbians vary widely in their attitudes toward men, some simple hate them, others like them as people but go eeoooow yuck at the idea of contact with a penis, as you move toward the bi end of that spectrum the ick factor lessens and melds into desire. I assume you had some discussion early on about why she was choosing to leave the world of lesbian sex/relationships and get into a relationship with a man?

I've known people (male and female) who have gone back and forth repeatedly. I had one gf that ran through a string of changes.
Oh Joe is wonderful. The sex is fantastic!
    2 weeks later-
That blankety, blank, blank, so and so. I hate men!
    One month later-
Suzie is so incredible. Being with a woman is bliss.
    3 months later-
That lesbian betch!! What a ho! Why did I think women were better?
    6 months later-
Stanley is great! What a wonderful man!
    2 months later
That lying cheating SOB! What was I thinking!

    Repeat ad nauseam

It is unlikely that she has entirely lost her desire for women and it is possible that being with a man was more or less an experimental thing although she may not have thought so at the time the two of you got together. Many gay couples go through the same ups and downs that straight couples do and their sex lives can end up just as stale or one or both may lose their desire. Do you know what happened in her past relationships? What is her relationship pattern?

I'm staying until my son is raised and then I'll figure out what makes me happy. Might be a good way to figure out what I want and need and figure out how to go about getting it. I understand women get almost nothing out of sex and in most cases it's just a pain in the butt and a waste of their time. At least that what most women tell me. I'm going to wait this out for awhile and see what happens. Trying the ignoring thing right now- so far, no response-

The easiest way in which I can say this?

TWO PEOPLE truly in love, not friends, or enemies for that matter, but truly in love, always work their marriage together and as such, ALWAYS love "intimacy" because it's not sex.

        Note I said "two people"...

You will find the women that said that to you, view their relationship as "friends" and see sex as nothing in their eyes. Because it isn't....

To quote a dear friend, Pffftttttt.
I adore sex. Wouldn't want to do without it.
Have you done ANY reading here??? All the women complaining about a lack of sex, sharing tips and ideas for the bedroom? WHY would they be doing that if they got nothing out of it?
Good grief man what kind of women do you have out there in your neck of the woods?
I think you've been talking to the wrong women.

Probably true for some women, but not all. For some, sex is better than eating, just like it is for some guys: that is that they would forgo eating for long times to have sex with their lover. Sex releases brain chemicals that can be addictive to some.

That's not true for all women. Maybe some of the women who told you so aren't satisfied by their partners, hence they think sex is boring when it's actually their partners who are. Sex is fantastic when you have it with someone you're compatible with.

It's not her, it's me. Just found out. Now I feel worse than ever. I haven't been giving her time to "warm up". Then she's in pain for 2-3 days. She just told me, we had a heart to heart. God, I feel just awful. Now, I'm the cause of her discontent. I truly feel like a heel, I wasn't giving her the attention she needed in order for her to ready. How stupid can one man be? Now I understand why she wanted to get rid of me. She never said a word- 6-8 years of misery for her. I feel just awful. Thanks for all the input and support. I really appreciate it. I'm surprised she put up with me for So long. She never said a word- just pushed me away. No wonder. I'm such a dope-

I couldn't have been more insensitive, why am I so dumb? I've just lost 6-8 years of sex due to my own stupidity. I used hydrocodone and Jim Beam to dull the pain of a broken heart caused by my own stupidity. I've been off of both for 3 days now and told her why I was taking so much of it this morning. That's when our talk started. I've hurt the woman I love so dearly and God it hurts-

When you get back to having her have fun with sex it will be like time has gone backwards. Keep the communications open.

Ok Darlin' so there wasn't enough foreplay all these years. Don't beat yourself up. She could have explained this little tidbit a heck of a lot earlier. This is a communication problem. Now you know. Is she open to helping you explore and learn what it takes to arouse her?
                      I hope so.
If she is the two of your could have a lot of fun.
