We all have fantasys but you dont have to act everyone out. Id ask what he wants to get from this and if hes actually asking for an open marriage. Be careful because once you do that, what else or other acts is he going to want you to do?

What about if he just likes seeing his wife being pleasured? Maybe the guy just likes his wife being happy? Is that so strange?

No its not strange but i would hope and want to think that the job of pleasuring and seeing me being pleasured was my mans job not every other men.
Why be in a relationship then if all its gonna be is swingers clubs and fastacy glory hunting. ok why didnt he say earlier then before you go deep in relationships if you like multiple partners. what if she says no way? is he going to except it or do it anyway.

          Update:

We haven't done it yet but continue to play with the fantasy. This has lead to increased closeness and a general improvement in our sex life and relationship. I know he doesn't want an open marriage as I offered this and he said no.

I will update you all if there are any developments.

Many types of fantasy situations can improve relationships.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
            ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia

My opinion: Don't do it. No matter how confident he thinks he is, how secure in your relationship he says he is, how sure he is that this wouldn't ruin your marriage, is NO guarantee. Nor is it a guarantee of how you feel about yourself after. Recipe for disaster. You two have committed to each other. Tell him to keep this one a fantasy.

My husband and I have a very old fashioned marriage and he would never allow this, nor is it something I would ever consider.

from my experience, for what its worth...

An interesting topic to say the least and one that hits close to home for me. I am approaching my 38th birthday and i am married to an incredible 44 year old man. We have two beautiful children.
Almost 8 years ago, 6 years into our marriage, my husband awoke from a dream early one morning and instigated a passionate love making session with me. Afterward, i asked him what he was dreaming about that got him so 'hot and bothered?' He very carefully described a dream in which he observed me 'hooking up' with another man. Though i was stunned at the answer, i was intrigued, and it led to further questions/discussions over the next several months, usually during our 'quiet time' away from the children before we went to sleep.
Ultimately, this open dialogue gave me an open door look at a part of my husband that i never had before. We discovered a very sexually submissive side to my husband (and in turn, a very sexually dominant side to me that i wasnt fully aware of). We started slow, role play between the two of, light bdsm, etc.
It wasnt until i knew (through some open dicussion over time, but mostly woman's intution) he was ready that i acted on fulfilling his fantasy. Without boring with all the details, its been 8 years since that 'first time' and i would say we have become closer in the last 8 yrs than in the first 6. My ocassional 'one night stand' (less than 10 in the last 8 yrs) are something both my husband and i gain incredible enjoyment out of. It works for us and thats all i can really speak to.
If i can offer any female to female advice, it would be to fully discuss perameters with your husband and trust you womens intuition.

My husband has introduced this idea to me as well. I am 23 and we have been together for almost 5 years. He is in the military and brought it up the first time when he was deployed. I told him I think I would do it, I have wanted to have a 3-sum with 2 men, but never told him until it was brought up. He isn't interested in the 3-sum he just wants to watch really, and if it works out maybe try a 3-sum the second time around. We are both straight, so it's not a bisexual thing for him. He simply wants to watch another man have sex with me. When he came home from deployment we stopped talking about it. He recently brought it up again when he was gone for 2 weeks in the field. But he is serious about it this time. I think I am willing to try this. But the biggest question in my mind is where on Earth do you meet someone that wants to have sex with a married woman while her husband is in the room watching, possibly recording it? He has said he can find people online, but that is scary to me. How can we trust a stranger? But how could we bring a friend into something like that too? How did you and your husband meet these other men?
