I'd say I would feel confident, girl if a man says you look good, work it! The touch is a bit creepy yes, but excluding that, I'd take it as a complement :P

I am an extremely shy person, so I probably would have been devastated hearing that from a complete stranger. Although it may have been flattering for some women, I would have felt very offended, and thought the guy was a complete creep. I am a married woman, BTW.

Thats really ballsy on his part. If he said it weird, he's probably a socially awkward creep. The serial rapist kind. If he laughed about it, it was probably a joke and he's just immature.

Depending on how the man looked, I would feel excited and aroused. Not because I want to actually follow through with it, but because it would make me feel sexy

I'd probably have the same reactions as you and I am very happily married. It feels good to be noticed. Sometimes I will catch a man looking a little "too long". I smile to myself after. It's still nice to be noticed no matter how happily married you are.

Having said that, I'd inform store management and employees of what happened. He could be a predator. At the very least, it is harassment.

It sounds like he wants a sexy maid. I would find such an approach disturbing.

So what happened was that I was by myself shopping at a Target department store and as I was looking at cleaning products, a man around my age stood next to me and said to me "If I tell you a secret, do you promise not to tell anyone?". He then put his hand on my shoulder and whispered this into my ear: "I'm married but I think you're extremely sexy and I want to see you on your hands and knees at my place once a week when my wife isn't home....what do you think?". After he said this, I was in a state of shock for a few seconds but of course I said "I'm not interested" to his offer and walked away. The thing that surprised me a bit was that I found myself to be not only shocked by what he said but slightly aroused and since something like this from a complete stranger never happened to me before, I wonder if my reaction is a normal one or if perhaps it's a sign that I'm perhaps not as happy with my sex life in my marriage as I think I am. I did tell my best girlfriend about this (who is also married) and her reaction was "Ewww...that's creepy" and when I asked her if she would have been aroused by something like that happening to her she said "absolutely not".

I'd like to hear from the other women on this board (both single and married) as to how you would be affected by this type of sexually aggressive proposition from a complete stranger. Please be honest!

First off most women ( yea don't shake your heads ladies) even your best girlfriend are NOT going to tell you if it would get them aroused, most probably would think that it wouldn't but if it happened to them they indeed would, if in fact the man was friendly. On the guys end ( very bold ) for sure. To be honest he more than likely read you by your reply of "sure", had you looked at him strangely or whatever he may not have said anything else, and it was an odd way of just friendly flirting with you. No harm intended! As far as you being aroused, like others stated more than likely just a you felt good, can be turn on to know others are looking, think your sexy, etc. Very common among men and women.

If it were me in the position I would in no way shape or form have been aroused when I heard the words "I am married" and "see you on your hands and knees"...if it was only "you look sexy" then yeah maybe a bit of arousal if the man was attractive. There is a big difference between innocent flirting between a random man and a woman and flat out going too far. Having a man say "you look good in red" or something is innocent, having a man say "I'm married but want to see you on your hands and knees" is blunt, strong, and honestly going too far. A man choosing words like that means he likely wants that shock response, he likes the shock response so he went right for it. Men often know that simply saying "you look sexy" can be a bit much to say to a random woman knowing that not all women like to be commented on randomly. This man could have ended his pursuit at "I think you are extremely sexy" but no he went further he went and touched her during the comment. To me that right there is a red flag he is doing it with a disregard for how she may react, men may make some pretty strange comments in an attempt to flirt with a woman but touching a random woman...that does not happen often because a lot of men know if you touch without permission that brings it into a whole other "get out of my personal space" bubble. He went more extreme, more likely to get an unfavored response...why? Only that man knows, it could have been genuine and maybe the result of an unhappy marriage, maybe he had no idea how to flirt and went for the first thing he could think of, or maybe he is a genuine creep. I think it would have been far better and honestly more acceptable for that man to say something along the lines of "you are sexy" rather than mentioning he is married and wants this woman to get on her hands and knees for him.

I'd probably be shocked and flattered at the same time, depending also on the guy who said it. But having been cheated on after 24yrs of marriage I would've told him in specific terms what I thought his wife should do to him.( that would have been venting on my part!)

I am engaged and under sexed but that would not have aroused me. I get innocent flirts all the time and it doesn't make me feel sexy. Out of politeness I smile at innocent flirting. I've had proposals of sex from strange men and it ****es me off ESP when they are married. I had one guy I worked with for a year tell me he bought me a Xmas gift but I could only have it if I agreed to let him see me in it . Then he went on to tell me that it was a black teddy and that his wife found sex painful so he didn't want to leave her cause he loved her but he dreams about me in sexy lingerie all the time . Needless to say he disgusted me so I stop speaking to him . Only flirts turn me on is my guy but he rarely flirts. I guess something's wrong with me I don't know maybe I'm not normal
