    Which cultures are that?

I have a pretty high sex drive, but it can decrease with the wrong person. I know what my turn-ons and turn-offs are. I have found that controlling relationships and mean comments make me lose interest having sex with someone.

My experience has been that most of my sexual partners have been more libidinous than I am. However I have had ess than 10 women in my sexual past, so I'm no oracle.

It takes a patient and confident man to bring out the sexy side of a woman I think.

Also women (in my experience) tend to be 'slow starters', i.e. unlike men they require warming up, rather than just "get them clothes off love and we'll jump to it". However once you get them going it can be a mission to turn them off again - unless you fart in the bed!

I have to ask: how old are you?

I think the original premise is wrong, at least for individuals.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

I still cant believe this perception still exists. Libido depends on the person not your gender

You're right about this x.angel but cultural upbringing will make a difference
on how easily you exteriorate it. So yes it will play a roll from someone elses
                point of view.

You know what you feel whether you want more or less, but your background
defines how you let other people see this or not. Understand?

Some other things to consider is who would be stuck with carrying around an unwanted child for nine months and who can most easily abandon it. Also, men and larger and stronger. Not too many men are victims of female-on-male rape. Men don't typically require as much gentleness and patience during the sex act either. How many men are posting saying they need to go slow so that they don't feel pain? All this on top of the cultural views about sexual women and it becomes clear why a woman may not be as free with her sex. The rest is probably just individual.

Which south asian country are you from? I remember there's a hindu tribe in central india that is okay with women being sexual before marriage, but they are not in the mainstream.
