It is so sad to see children not being children anymore. Sex being glorified as being the magic potent of life and youth taking the plunge far before they are mentally and physically ready for this challenge. In many ways it can ruin their lives. Sex is big and without the love that goes with it we are just fulfilling some sort of animal urge of life. So often young girls thinking that they have to do this, do this. They do not enjoy it but they must talk to their girlfriend's about how cool it was. They cannot be the exception and stand alone. They must be one of the gang. At this young age they do not know that it takes a bigger girl to say NO then say yes. That to leave it at kissing and petting is enough. That to play with this emotion of giving him her sexual place can be the most confusing time of her life and the rewards just are not there at this young age in life.

I know I was born in another time and another place in life but I have no regrets that I was a virgin when I married. Dated so much and had one date threatened to throw me off of a cliff because I would not give myself to him and thinking back this scares me but I would not have given in to him. With him it would have been rape.

I have a beautiful granddaughter of 13 and I cringe thinking of life and some young man she will give herself to. I guess I kind of hope she has some of her Grandmother in her. Save it for someone special my little love.....that is my hope.....

You shouldn't get angry at her. She's just trying to help; we see so many very young girls on this forum dabbling in sex when they're not ready, and it's sad. Easy to jump to that conclusion when someone posts questions like yours. Obviously you weren't taught much about sex thus far.
I agree with Caroline, it's so sad that young girls are pressuring themselves/getting pressured into sex so early. I didn't lose my virginity until this year when I was engaged, and with him it was not a loving thing. No wonder he broke off our engagement; I wasn't the w**** he wanted.
With my boyfriend (whom I love so dearly) sex is a beautiful thing. He and I are both giving towards each others' pleasure. I wouldn't have it any other way.

          Hello narmeen-

I did not answer your question with the answer you were seeking because I saw that Little already had that aspect of your question covered. I replied to your question with what also needed to be asked to you and offered to you. There is nothing irregular about it! Anyone asking the questions you did suggests they have a limited sex education no matter what their age is. It is difficult to believe a 28 year old would ask these types of questions. It may not be what you wanted to hear but it needed to be said. That is a stranger (me) helping you in the most sincere since that it can be offered. I am not the only one here who thought it or responded in that way (in some form or another). I never said you had a problem writing or speaking English....that was someone else who suggested that. I have discussed sex education with my children since they were old enough to identify their genitals. Whatever they were old enough to understand at the time is what I taught them. If I had a daughter of any age on this site or anywhere else asking what you asked....I would pray someone would say to her what I said to you. As a mom it is my duty to say it. You don't have to like me. I would rather you hate me and have the truth. I understand that you were in pain. I also know that sex can come with consequences. If you do not know those consequences you are most certainly going know a whole lot more pain if you are not sexually educated. It is what it is. Before you engage in any sexual activity you should know the reproductive process and be mature enough to make responsible choices. I have attached an illustration for you. If you are serious and have any questions please feel free to ask me. If you understand and wish to proceed let me know and I'll post another illustration for you. We can take this one step at a time.

            Hello Little-

Thank you for explaining my concerns to Narmeen. With it coming from you she is more likely to understand it came from a mother's love and concern for all children and people....not just my own children. I stand by my question to her, the way I asked her, and my comments of concern to her. Who knows maybe one day she will appreciate the fact that someone cared enough to just put it out there to her. If she needs to and is willing to I am more than happy to give her any information she needs. If I don't have said information I will do my best to obtain it. I just could not sit back and let anyone asking questions of that nature dive head first into a sexual situation without knowing sexual education and being mature enough to make responsible sexual choices. Sex is not all fun and games as you know. Again I thank you on behalf of Narmeen and myself as well.

                Hello sourpuss-

Her thread was truly alarming to me. I see you have concerns about it as well. I would pray if I had a daughter that was asking questions of this nature on this site or anywhere else....that someone would ask her and tell her the same things I did....for the same reasons.

Agreed. Honestly, I was hoping it was a joke or just someone trying to be a wind up but it looks like she's serious.

                    Hi Sourpuss-

I was hoping the same thing. Just in case it wasn't a joke I had to take the opportunity to respond the way I did. Her original question does seem like she could be quite serious.

I think this may be a child playing around but whoever it is writes two different ways. I would have a hard time believing that she is 28.....but ?????

A few months ago my husband and I were out to lunch. Across from us were five kids. Three girls and two boys. Probably around 13 to 14. The conversation going on between them not only shocked me but floored me. Openly talking about *******. This at first I thought was putting on a show for us. Then I heard from a friend of ours of kids in the 8th grade at a party picking partners if they did not have a boyfriend or girlfriend to go and pair up with and have oral sex. This not only gets me sick but makes me thank God that I was born when I was and did not have to deal with this.

We are progressing backward. Back to the animals.....How young people of this age can think so unashamedly of their body parts blows my mind. And believe me, I am not old fashioned and very into life.....
