    Obelisk,

Here's something else to keep in mind, something I've learned while in college. At least double the number of sexual partners a woman might tell you she has had, and then add a few more. Women lie about their age, their weight, and the number of men with whom they've had sex. As Neil Young sang, "...numbers add up to nothin'."

If you find yourself dating a 30 year old woman who's gone to college and she were to tell you she's been with only five men, figure that she ain't giving up the truth unless she used to be a nun. Then double the number, add a few more, and subtract one.

      Obelisk,

You might want to check around. Most women love to be treated like porn stars in bedrooms & princesses out of bedrooms. This transcends all socioeconomic classes, but it seems to be more common among professional women. Women seem to expect men to take charge in bedrooms and bang their brains out. Might be that I have to expand my research population to confirm my theory holds female orgasms.
I've noticed that. Last gf was like that and I wasn't used to it but played along somewhat. Not really sure what to make of it. I think porn has really done a number on society as a whole, men and women, as to the expectations we should have and the type of sex we should be having. Frankly I feel it's a cancer of society, but as long as there's a market it will keep getting churned out by the buckets.

lol yup! no arguments there. I do still hold hope. There's a few women on this board even that admit they've only been with a couple of men. Some have been (and still are) with only one.

I think Stillness makes good points on how to increase one's chances of finding them. Not really sure I'm into the church hunting again, but that's probably still the best place to search.

Some, but be careful with generalizations on what women (or men) want sexually or in other things. There is a lot of variation.

          rcoreyus,

I'm not sure it's a generalization, but it might be. I have had many women tell me this is in fact how they love sex, and women I have been with loved to be treated like bedroom porn stars. In fact, the only women I haven't treated like bedroom porn stars were the ones I shouldn't have had sex with.

You might want to Google, "Women's sexual fantasies porn star," and check out what women actually say.

            Obelisk,

Just because a woman tells you she's only been with one man or a few men, doesn't mean it's true. Keep in mind that three common things about which women will lie is their weight, their age, and the number of men they have done.

To me, none of the three matter. I can see her weight. If she's fat & tells me she's average, I know she's average for fat chicks & I don't do fat chicks. I can guess pretty accurately how old a chick is, so she doesn't have to lie to me about her age. And I already know the formula for guestimating how sexually active she was. So I assign no index to any number she might tell me. Whether she cops to one or a hundred ain't gonna break a deal. How I feel about her will.

No I understand that. I meant particularly on this board. I don't see a reason for women to lie on here. A lot (like me) come from very religious backgrounds, and basically married their first bf and have only been with that guy.

It seems they are happy and satisfied. I know I would have been were I in the same situation.

But yes in real life I agree with you that the the most likely scenario is for women to lie about how many men they have been with if you ask them straight out (if the number has been really high).

I am wondering what going to college has to do with the number of men a girl slept with...
That seems a very broad generalization to me.

Remember that all generalizations are wrong ...

I could imagine though that on average men and women have more sex that others because they often in close contact with similar age people of their preferred gender.

                    rcoreyus,

I disagree. Generalizations can be perfectly within reason & logic depending upon the basis of knowledge of the one generalizing. In fact, generalizing can save your life. For instance, in general it ain't wise to stroll around Detroit at night.

Coeds do have a lot of sex and for the reasons you've stated. They're in stressful environments (college with grade pressure), they're around young men all day long many of whom will become their friends and boyfriends, they tend to party a lot & get drunk, and they're in company of guys with whom they're comfortable. The same is true in employment situations where men & women work together. Where I used to work, men & women would engaged in sexual activity & even have affairs.

Not all that long ago I was near coeds who were talking about guys. While I didn't overhear everything they said, it was obvious that they were talking about sex. This shouldn't shcok anyone because TV programs glamorize even casual sex.

I remember going to fraternity & sorority parties. They were pretty darn wild. It was common to meet a girl and within an hour or so having sex with her. A buddy of mine was telling me about a toga party at his alma mater that he went to a few years after he graduated. He met a coed on a balcony. Both were drunk. While they were talking she lifted up his toga and gave him a hand job with other party goers on the same balcony.

                      Obelisk,

I know that there are some men & women who have married their firsts. But I do believe this is the exception to the rule.

I went to a high school reunion some 7 years ago. Two of the girls that I talked to told me that while they were in high school they used to go to a church retreat in the community where I used to live. One was the minister's daughter. They told me that they lost their virginity at that retreat when they were 15. That surprised even me.
