Dude stop living in Old Testament times! Be real. Ok Real world. Jesus didn't come to the world yet or was sacrificed as a punishment for our sins to keep living in the past written by a bunch of herolds or old Prune faced elders. Come on! Get real. I'm not perfect but I have needs my wife can't meet those needs. I figured God can understand. If not all well I'm not perfect. But I strive to be better and pray more and know my Jesus Christ my Father God and the Holy Spirit has my back!

I went through the same thing. I have an extremely high sex drive even at 50 yrs old and a very active sex life at 2-3 times a week . Anymore it seems I get very little if anything from masturbation. I often feel guilty about my needs. I finally figured it out with the help of my wife of 26 years. I needed more than just the act alone and needed the connection with the person that I love. So now instead of doing it alone, she is present to either give me a hand or watch. I always did it alone before as I did not want to pester her about sex all the time. All I did was just open up and talk to her bout it, which sometimes is hard to do. Things have never been better and have actually increased our sexual desire for each other.

Sex is an extremely crucial facet of of relationships. Maybe it's merely luck, but I have always been with women who love sex.

A man has to do what a man has to do, but to my way of looking at sex, when a man needs it his wife ought to give it up unless something else is up; e.g., she's really not in a mood or is ill.

My ex's first husband ended up cheating on her & doing prostitutes even though she was gorgeous and had a body that would cause wood to grow in the Sahara. She used to withhold sex from him as punishment & to manipulate him. He put up with her BS long enough to have had enough of it. Once she reluctantly admitted that she was the primary cause of his getting it from other women, it was too late. No matter how hard she tried to get him back, he wasn't about to return to her games when there were plenty of women who were willing to take care of his sexual needs.

Women who don't give their husbands enough sex seem to can't figure out why their husbands are doing other women and/or prostitutes.

Ok so the OP didn't want a good Bible based reply to his post. All he wanted was someone to come in and say "everything you are doing is ok".

SansSouci, we may disagree somewhat, but you have good sexual knowledge (which I frankly lack) so it's always informative to read your posts.

And he got it. Problem solved.

I took the issue you raised over biblical morality and modern sensibility into the Lounge here: https://www.womens-health.com/boards...ivine-law.html.
