      Everyone please be nice.

Obelisk, you are not required to put all the effort in to please women. You can find lots of threads here about women who's boyfriends / husbands tread them badly and are horribly selfish in bed. I'm not saying you want to act like that, but it seems that a lot of men are able to get away with it. The same way that you will find threads on women who are very selfish in bed. I think though that the people who enjoy sex the most are the ones who directly enjoy pleasing their partners.

The illogical comment was a tease, Obelisk, being as Spock is logical, etc. IMO you're apparent conclusion that you must be alone in life due to some superficial perceived incompatibility or lack of 'fairness' is what's illogical. If you said that to Spock, he'd just raise his eyebrow at you.

Seriously though, lighten up. What's the big deal with having to put forth a little extra effort? Especially considering the benefits.

What benefits? My 2 previous gf's were more of a pain to me than anything else. It's interesting to realize that I'm actually in a good position: 35, fit, no kids, no debts. Occasional sex was a pitiful reward for the bs I had to put up with, and now that I'm alone again all of a sudden I have a couple of hundred dollars extra a month I don't know what to do with.

And the moment a 6" penis was considered small, and I now have to "put effort" to make up for it because I'm the guy and the girl is the princess is the day I already lost because I'll never find a woman that doesn't miss that huge **** from her previous man (who of course was an ace hole), and it's insulting that I have to make up for that "deficiency". Pleasing my partner should be separate from the "make up for lack of physical size"

So yeah, the workload is completely on the man, which was clear by your post "even though my bf has 8", he better know how to take care of me, or he's off to the curb". Yes you're the prime candidate of the girl I want to date....NOT!

Anyway if you feel like it, google "misandry bubble" and read up on that article, then come back and talk.

Quote: How about this idea: If sex feels so much better to women, why do women generally take so much longer to reach climax? Also, not all men are not screamers or moaners.[/QUOTE]

I personally don't think that has anything to do with it. If anything I think it lends itself to my theory, because personally, the quickies are a great thing but nowhere near the intensity of a longer, slow build up to climax.
But congrats on that 6 times. I'd have been happy to just have had a partner willing to try for more than once or twice.

Obelisk, you are generalizing way too much. Not all women are going to be the way the 2 prior partners have been. Plenty of women would love a man regardless of his size. Personally it would not change my feelings for someone that I'd fallen for, and I wouldn't be sleeping with them until I was in love, committed and stable in the relationship. Now if they were a selfish lover anyway, THAT would be what drove me away, not the smaller size. You are placing way too much value on that alone. Penis size to me, ranks way down the list of things that are "must haves" as I navigate the singles scene. There are so many priority items over that.

Well I didn't place the value, women are placing the value on it. I understand not all women though, but as we chatted in the other thread, the women not likely to place much value in it is probably for physical reasons (too big might hurt for example).

I, personally am just sick of the whole "the guy has to do all the work because he's the guy" mentality a lot of women seem to have. They will easily forgive a guy with a huge one though more easily though if they like bigger size.

Obelisk, I think you're misconstruing my words. The boyfriend working hard to please me remark was in reference to the earlier discussion about that other guy not caring about the woman's pleasure, which jns first addressed. I wasn't saying "my man has to do all the work," I was saying I won't tolerate my man not doing any work. I won't apologize for that, but regardless, that in itself really has nothing to do with penis size.

You reference two previous girlfriends. That's hardly a large enough sample size to draw sweeping conclusions from about women in general. There are plenty of loving, caring women out there who are looking for and would be completely satisfied with a less-than-huge guy. You don't have to target someone like me or really anyone in particular. Treating them properly and looking after their pleasure is only going to improve your outlook, no matter what the particulars.

If you're genuinely happy alone because you're fit and have money, that's great. My concern though is that I have seen quite a few people (girlfriends mostly) talk themselves into this frame of mind as a rationalization for having bad luck with romance, and for those people, if they don't get out of that mindset, they wind up bitter and angry at the world. That's not happiness, that's being on speaking terms with life at best. Human beings are social creatures ...our nature is to strive for companionship, not go it solo. My guess is you're not as far off from that as you may think.

Here`s my 2 cents. We all know men visual oriented creatures hence Playboy, lingerie etc. I think men are also oriented toward sound oriented as well. They need some sort of auditory feedback to confirm the woman is enjoying it. For much of our relationship I was not a screamer and it was a bone of contention. He assumed it was his fault , he wasn`t talented enough as a lover. All of a sudden last year I became a screamer. He no longer feels compelled to ask if I enjoyed it.

This may be a bit off the mark. Could men generally not making much (if any) noise I wonder if it could be an extension of the concept of the " strong, silent type.? Men are taught from a yearly age that emotion equals weakness. And that showing emotion is a typically female. Being called "Mary" because " boys don,t cry." Since pleasure is also an emotion they have can`t express it on any great scale hence grunts and groans.

Loud confirmation, as in porn, is not necessary for me. I can hear when a girl breaks the rhythm of her breathing. It is one of the first clues that I am doing something well. Some of the sexiest moans are relatively quiet. And, somewhat quieter keeps the neighbors out of it. That being said, there is no problem if a girl is loud. To each her own.

I think that may be a really good insight.
