    Can Anyone Explain Foot Fetishes?

Let me clarify first - I don't really consider the love of feet a fetish, assuming they're attached to someone. Love of footwear might be, or disembodied stockings, or things like that, but just loving your lady's feet is perfectly okay in my book. Still, I don't entirely understand the sexual extension, being as feet are not innately sexual.

I keep my feet looking nice (french nails yay!), and they are very aesthetically pleasing I suppose, inasmuch as feet can be. But my boyfriend (and several other past partners) goes wild for them. I can basically always get him to go all wobbly by flashing them at him (or texting them to him ), or if I really want to push his buttons, plopping them in his lap when we're on the couch or putting them in his face when we're getting down to business. He pampers them for me - massages, kisses, basically lots and lots of foot love - and I enjoy it. But what is the direct connection to sexuality? What makes him lose it when he comes into contact with them? Is it just that they're mine, or is there something more caveman-ish about feet that I'm not aware of?

I like pretty feet in women (not men though, ew) and give them plenty of attention myself, but it's always moreso in the sense of experiencing the whole person that I'm with. I don't automatically say "Oh my god!" when I see a cute pair and start lubing lol.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I've asked my boyfriend (even though I'd rather not wreck the mystique - it's cool to have a secret weapon to use when I need him to obey me quickly lol), but all he can do is look at me with a goofy smile and mumble unintelligibly. (Seriously, he just says "I don't know.") Help!

Not from a male perspective, but, whilst it takes a bit of stretching and contorting during sex it drives my other half wild...

In some sense I think it is in the nature of fetishes that they can't be explained. Nothing wrong with them in general, but I don't think there is any way to have a rational explanation of why someone likes feet. I wonder how common "fetishes" are, where by fetish I mean a sexual attraction that is not easily explainable.

Well if foot fetishes are any indication, very common.

I have asked my fiance about this, and he can't explain it either. He's very embarrassed about having it even though he knows I'm OK with it (I even picked my avatar as an homage to him, hehe). He's researched it and tried to understand it but can't figure out the reason for it. He does recall being turned on by girls' feet as early as the first or second grade, a long time before he even knew about sex.

It doesn't seem particularly strange to me. The only difference between a guy getting turned on by boobs versus getting turned on by feet is one has a more obviously sexual connection in the mind of most people, but they're both body parts when you get right down to it.

I do like what Jen sais about her "secret weapon"--it is funny that the one way I have to completely control my fiance is with my feet, lol.

I know, it's hilarious. Sometimes if he's being obstinate I'm like "don't even make me take off my shoes."

I have no idea, but I've had past boyfriends who were all into my feet too.

I have a SERIOUS foot fetish! When I see a sexy pair I can't help but imagine unloading all over them. To the point that its a make or break deal for me. I couldn't be with a girl unless she had pretty feet - and pretty feet are really rare to find. Granted I also love hands but not to the extent of feet. A woman's feet are the fourth thing I check out after her face, rack, and butt. And unless the first 3 are otherworldy, unattractive feet are deal breakers.

For me personally its the shape of the feet especially the big toe that determines attractiveness. Smaller feet are also sexier. The smaller the better!

if I was with a chick I'd make sure to massage, smell, kiss, lick, suck her feet and ask for a footjob.

I cant explain why I love feet but I do and I really don't care why!

I bet you strategically wore open-toed shoes and whatnot just to keep them in line too. The 'worship' thing is actually pretty funny when you get right down to it.

I was more the teaser with the feet...making sure they were looking good and especially visible and would accidentally graze my guy occasionally...ya know how that happens.
Used to have a guy that wanted my feet on his butt during sex(missionary)..ROFL...that wasn't a problem but it's hilarious now.
