Now for the second half of the battle, do you make yourself believe that you can make him honest if you try harder or do you cut your losses?

I've gotten to a point where i just feel like i have to cut my losses as pathetic as it is this has been an issue before and i'm always the 'wrong' one.... still cant figure out his logic on that but i know i'm not wrong and its not him. we (and he actually participated very willingly) worked on working past this and things were great but i knew once he was becoming distant something had to be going on but i didn't want to automatically assume because i didn't want it to be me being worried or over thinking.... but instincts pack power don't they!

Well, my dear, it sounds like a boob job is not a reactionary measure. May be a good time to switch focus onto yourself and really do what makes you happy and will provide a fresh start, new outlook, etc.

And don't feel bad about being duped by this tool twice and having trusted him that second time...happens to the best of us.
