To answer the question why I, a man, am posting on this site I only point out that if you google “pegging” the thread “has anyone here tried pegging” from this site comes up pretty early on. This is how I found the site and since my wife and I have been pegging for about 8 years and the thread was singularly lacking in information (despite being much viewed) I felt qualified to make a significant contribution. All the more so since my wife is a doctor and therefore well versed in the health issues involved.


I don't want to repeat all that I posted on that thread but my wife and I are both extremely happy that we introduced this into our sex lives and are happy to let others know this. We believe there are some health benefits: Dilatation is known to be an effective technique against haemorrhoids which I suffered from mildly until we started pegging and which have completely cleared up since. Prostate massage is also a known technique against certain types of enlarged prostate, and, as I have mentioned earlier there are those who claim to have had significant relief from this condition by pegging (which, of course also offered them a form of mutually satisfying sex despite the man's inability to attain a serviceable erection due to the enlarged prostate)


As with anything pleasurable some people will take it to excess. However, our experience is that it does not detract from the desire of either of us to indulge in 'conventional' sex which we enjoy 4 or 5 times a week in addition to pegging about once a week.

I think it is now going to be fairly easy for the reader to judge for themselves who is telling the truth here; who is trying to explain their viewpoint in a calm and reasoned manner and who is trying to shore up a discredited thesis by an ever-increasingly desperate series of personal attacks.
