For me, it was more "animalistic" than "intellectual". I had read about it, but I was unprepared for the emotional response that I needed to do it . . . Right then. It was our first time together and she had already had a few orgasms from cunilingus and I was massaging her back as a break. Funny, I thought I was taking a huge risk and that, if she thought I was a pervert, it was over. I knew I really loved her at the time. Didn't matter. Had to anyway."The only consistent feature of all of your dissatisfying relationships is you." Despair.com "Dysfunction" -
See, I get that. I've had quite a few (very enthusiastic) lovers who've actually wanted to go there first during the first time. That tells me there's indeed something "animalistic" about it as you say. Why else would it be so mandatory and such a priority? I guess it's possible that it's a profound cultural influence but I suspect something more akin to instinct, which again makes me wonder why, as no eggs are gonna get fertilized in there.
I guess the jury's still out but at least I'm not the only one who's seen a trend.Comment

I have tongued a woman's bum before a few times and liked doing it once I saw how much pleasure she was getting from me doing it.I remember the first time I went down on a woman and I immeditely(sorry for the spelling) went towards her bumhole after licking her Va jay jay without she asking or telling me to.I just thought that what I was suppose to do whenever I went down on a woman.Another anal/analingus thread on the way ....
Something Awesome said in another thread that his recent conversion to analingus on his GF had quickly become "second nature." Now, I don't think he was exactly saying this, but it made me think - how 'natural' is it to be drawn to a woman's bum? (And I mean bumhole here specifically - her anus.)
I can say without hesitation that when I first started having sex with women, I immediately wanted to go there. And I've always wanted my lovers to take care of mine - it seemed instinctual in both cases (tho not so for men, or on men I mean ....I'm sure that's a double standard but I don't care).
So how do you feel about it? I think we can all agree that there's 'something' that draws us to a woman's vajay - an instinct, drive, impulse, whatever - meaning that you don't think to yourself "Hm that vagina is maybe something I should look into." You just do, much the same way animals do I suppose. I'm pretty sure you could be a Tarzan type with no civilization or education whatsoever and you would still want p___y. Imagine the same thing for a woman's bum - is it legit? Do you just plain 'want?'
For the guys (or anyone else who might want to put a penis or penis-like object in there under similar circumstances), you can answer whether or not anal sex (penetration) is natural too. It's less so for me but still by no means off the radar.

When I first started having sex, some much older married guys would ask me if I performed anilingus on my girlfriends. They didn't call it that, but I'll keep it clean here. My response was always, "No way! Are you crazy? That is so gross!" In hindsight, they were trying to let me in on a few unspoken secrets. Then again, these were the same guys that gave me alcohol when I was underage.
This was more than 30 years ago before PCs, Internet, CDs and MTV.
And believe it or not, I had never seen any porn videos at this point either.
Now fast forward a few years... By the time I graduated from college, I was totally hooked. Not sure why really; I actually never gave it much thought until I read a few related threads recently, but now that I think about it, this can be quite attractive on the right woman.Comment

Never had a desire to go there on another person and probably never will. A high sex drive and boredom led me to experiment on myself and it really isn't that great. No matter how many things I try in how many ways I was always disappointed. I kept having the urge to find something more when masturbating but it was never satisfying. The only luck I did have is with e-stim and using the rectum to hold an electrode for passing current through the vaginal walls. E-stim uses controlled levels of electricity and specific wavelengths so you do not get "shocked". It is various waves of muscle contractions that are not uncomfortable. Although some people do like to be pushed to their limit by their partner. If you've ever had a TENS unit used on your muscles for an injury or health problem that is where the idea started. The TENS was used on the genitals to get the same rolling muscle contractions and then taken much farther with specialized equipment.Comment
