If I was in your position, even though as neurotic as it may seem to masturbate in front of someone, you didn't initiate it and it would be in your best interest a stop to it. If you still feel that what you did was okay, i would consider taking some time away from this position to decide what it is actually happening. You are probably so emotionally charged right now, that you simply can't think straight. If you have someone that can support you, please seek their help, there is no need to face this by yourself. take care and do what is right for you.

Even though you are both adults, I feel that your aunt is abusing her power over you. Sexual or Typical Abuse, imo is the abuser is using their position of power to have an unnatural control over your life. They are taking advantage of you for their own pleasure, and in any cause it age will have no bearing on the situation.

First of all HotAmy, I wasn't the the first one to suggest that this was incest, please go back an re-read the posts. What you have done Roy is wrong with a family member. I understand tour age and I will make allowances for such. First of all to be caught doing it by your mother aged 13 was kind of embarrassing and your mother did the correct thing to say she was sorry and to leave the room. She was also right to say that all boys did this and there was nothing wrong in it, as I say also. I do not know how her conversation of your deeds came to your aunt, perhaps your mother may have said in passing that ‘Roy is growing up now and has started masturbating’
Whatever the reason I think that you have had good replies from all on this site and I agree with most of them and I am glad that you say you will not do it front of her again. I can understand why you agreed to her request I expect owing to your age you have been used to playing with yourself whist watching porn either on line or lads magazines. I expect you thought all your Christmases had come at once. This is not the way to go. It will be better for all if you and your ant forgot all about the incident and put it all down to experience. What I do not agree with though is CLARET saying it was incest. As I see it, if I am correct, no handling by any partner took place and no penetration took place, it would be hard to prove incest. And RAINDANCER, it cannot be abuse either if the aunt did not touch the guy; He just did it for sexual pleasure playing with himself. Still morally wrong. Also we do not know what part of the world Roy lives .If it is the UK the age of consent is 16 years. This is six of one and a half dozen of the other as we say in the UK. Although saying all this, the situation should not have happened. CHANDERS WISH is RIGHT in everything she says. It is times like this I wish JEN was here, what has happened to her, She always gives good advice and I am sure she would have replied to you Roy. Please do not leave this site you could learn so much from this site as you are a young person growing up, remember all here are your friends, we may have different views from time to time but we are here to help. That which we forget may as well never really happened.Comment

My fifth edition of Black's Law Dictionary defines incest as:
"The crime of sexual intercourse or cohabitation between a man and a woman who are related to each other within the degrees wherein marriage is prohibited by law."
So, perhaps we can agree that what occurred here was not, strictly speaking, incest. Perhaps we can also agree that it had incestuous overtones. Would that be drawing too long a bow? Can we settle our ruffled feathers on that basis?I do not grow old; if I stop growing, I am old.Comment

Definition of Incest - it does not necessarily mean intercourse.
Incest is sexual activity between family members or close relatives.[1][2] This typically includes sexual activity between people in a consanguineous relationship (blood relations), and sometimes those related by affinity, such as members of the same household, step relatives, those related by adoption or marriage, or members of the same clan or lineage.[3]
The incest taboo is and has been one of the most widespread of all cultural taboos, both in present and in many past societies.[3] Most modern societies have laws regarding incest or social restrictions on closely consanguineous marriages.[3] In societies where it is illegal, consensual adult incest is seen by some as a victimless crime.[4][5] Some cultures extend the incest taboo to relatives with no consanguinity such as milk-siblings, step-siblings and adoptive siblings.[6][7] Third-degree relatives (such as half-aunt, half-nephew, first cousin) share 12.5% genes, and sexual relations between them is viewed differently in various cultures, from being discouraged to being socially acceptable.[8] The children of incestuous relationships were regarded as illegitimate, and are still so regarded in some societies today. In most cases, the parents did not have the option to marry to remove that status, as incestuous marriages were and are normally also prohibited. That which we forget may as well never really happened.Comment

No ruffled feathers, just trying to keep things factual. The definition of incest as I understood it was in my previous post. Sexual activity need not be limited to the act of intercourse. I think we can agree on that, yes no? Otherwise Bill Clinton was right, he had not had sexual relations with "that girl".My fifth edition of Black's Law Dictionary defines incest as:
"The crime of sexual intercourse or cohabitation between a man and a woman who are related to each other within the degrees wherein marriage is prohibited by law."

So much for trying to compromise.
I suppose, Claret, that the Parliament of Canada (which ordains the criminal law where you live) is going to have to get its act together and rely on Wikipedia henceforth for its legal definitions. Right now, the Criminal Code of Canada provides:
Incest
155. (1) Every one commits incest who, knowing that another person is by blood relationship his or her parent, child, brother, sister, grandparent or grandchild, as the case may be, has sexual intercourse with that person.I do not grow old; if I stop growing, I am old.Comment

Claret,
Your post #35 got in while I was typing post #36, supra.
I'll fold and accept that Wikipedia (from whence you drew your definition as near as I could tell) has a better grip on these things than the lawmakers. I am now better educated.
While I accept that sexual activity can extend to a broad range of things, heretofore I considered in incestuous relationship as involving intercourse. Thank you (and Wikipedia) for keeping things factual.I do not grow old; if I stop growing, I am old.Comment

We can go round in circles citing various on-line books, statutes and interpretation of the law however, what was said is that it was in intent if not by nature. The normal activities would be to cite a person (where intercourse has not taken place) and charge them with endangering a child and other similar charges.
Lets face it, none of us are legal experts in this - we can only state our opinion based on what we know and what we've read. My post above was just to point out to that one poster that I was not the first to suggest it was getting close to incest as she stated I was.
What we are really talking about here is the morality of things. If the OP was OK with with the event, why did he come on this board? As he said, he was 18 (not really a child) not a virgin (he had slept with persons in his own peer group) and he knew which way was up. He didn't like the advise given to him by many persons and has chosen not to return. I'm assuming he has not told his Mother, because after all he was embarrassed she caught him masturbating at a younger age so I seriously doubt he'd run to her with this tale. That which we forget may as well never really happened.Comment
