I was one of the ones concerned by my husband's frequent masturbation when I was not home. He still does masturbate when I am not home. That has not changed. I (for one) never felt it was dirty. I usually don't feel guilty when I masturbate either.
I did have a problem with my husband's frequent masturbation because he seemed to like it a lot and I was jealous. (Some others had said something similar). I was worried he might be sick of me or there might be something wrong...so I was upset at the frequency. There were times and still are when he was not working or working much and he had a lot of time to masturbate. I guess I should not have been as upset as I was. We were and still are having frequent, very good and satisfying sex! I was just worried. I did not know that he had that much sexuality in him to want to masturbate as often as he sometimes did/does (time permitting) and still have desire for me. I don't think I was totally wrong to worry though. I think there was a period when he was upst and using it to self-soothe. I felt like he was pulling away from me. It all turned out okay.....

Believe me I am happier but it had to be accepting....I could not go on that way and even if he did not have surgery, he would not be able to keep up with me...I believe this is true of many women as they age and accept their high sexual needs...I need to either masturbate or have sex four times a week....That is a minimum....And I think it is normal.....Otherwise we women can get high strung and ornery....At least that is my excuse...
