    distracting sex drive

I am the same as well. It's extremely frustrating and distracting. Right now I am a single woman and it's hard for me not to just jump at a guy. I go on dates but find it very difficult to find a sufficient partner. It's hard for me to be reserved, and patient when it feel like my libido is screaming at me to do something. I have talked to men and most of my pervious boyfriends couldn't keep up. I am getting really unfocused and irritable because I can't find enough of a release. I find myself also in very embarrassing moments where I say sexual things with out knowing it. Also I feel like I am projecting this intense sexual energy that makes men approach me, but the wrong kinds of men. Does anyone know of some herbal remedies that could calm it down. So if there is anything that could reduce this problem until I find someone special, I would appreciate any advice.

      Hi Ttyler,
I doubt this will be a problem when you find the right guy!
It sounds like you may have higher levels of testosterone, but this is not an ailment so please don't worry! There are treatments to level out your hormones although most are medical.
I suggest going to speak to your Gyno or if you want to find a herbal remedy going to a nutritionist, they know all about herbal treatments for everything! Or if they don't they can point you in the right direction.
I'd also suggest buying some good vibrators :P that may help relieve some of your frustration!
      Hope this helps
      Em

I'm over 45 and anyone over 30 can't handle my level of energy and desire. I have become a cougar and its has destroyed my marriage. My desires are all the time and if I DONT GET.. I'm hell to live with. I workout and clean very active. But five times a day is GREAT OR two three hour sessions. LOL

Say No to Birth Control Pills

I am 53 and took birth control pills for 24 years. My husband and I have been married for 34 years and I have 3 grown children now. We have never been on the same sexual level throughout our marriage. When we were younger and he wanted sex, I did not. I had children, work etc. to keep me busy and tired. I am not going through the "change" yet, but since going off the pills 2 years ago, I have the highest sex drive ever. Not even when we were first married did I want sex this much. Now he is older and has low testosterone and I can hardly get him in the mood. I feel like I was robbed of the best years of my life because I took those **%#! pills for so long. If I would have known.....

I do not look my age and have younger men that think I am attractive. I am so tempted to be with them, but would not want to hurt my husband or give up on our life together.

My advise to you younger women is do not take those pills!!!!! Find another way to prevent pregnancy.
Men, you better take care of your women, or some of them will be inclined to look elsewhere... I know I'm tempted... It's crazy that at my age, sex is all I can think about!

I think that everyone should take care of their mate.

Did you take care of your husband when he wanted it and you didn't? If you did, maybe you can remind him of that.

You can not imagine how much you are happy! You dream of every man. I would be happy with a girlfriend. I'm not a giant sexual and if only I lacked the strength to satisfy you, then be happy to masturbate to you ...

Yes, I want to say that I did take care of him... but I'm sure he knew that it wasn't what I wanted at the time. Now that I have the time, less stressful and strenuous job... he goes to sleep on the couch early and I'm left the rest of the evening alone. Not so sure I want to spend the last years of my life like this.... sad

Have you discussed it with him? Sometimes we expect our mates to know what we need, but they may not unless we tell them. I'm thinking that because of cultural stigmas, it may be harder for a woman to tell her man. But you have to talk if you want change. Literally going to bed together can work wonders too.

I go through phases where I could have sex all day over and over again. I become so aroused I can think of nothing else and often masturbate at work.

Is there something wrong with me or are there other women out there who experience this uncontrollable desire in "spurts" or "phases" as well?

Any info/feedback is appreciated as I cannot seem to find anything and am not inclined to go to my doctor and tell him how "turned on" I get.
