I do not look my age and have younger men that think I am attractive. I am so tempted to be with them, but would not want to hurt my husband or give up on our life together.

My advise to you younger women is do not take those pills!!!!! Find another way to prevent pregnancy.
Men, you better take care of your women, or some of them will be inclined to look elsewhere... I know I'm tempted... It's crazy that at my age, sex is all I can think about!
There must be something you can do to get your husband to rise to the occasion. It may take some work to "wake him up." Could you possibly approach him early in the morning, when his mind is clear and he is probably already erect (from sleep)? If he doesn't respond to your loving touch at dawn then there is an emotional/psychological barrier that must be overcome. You deserve to be happy (and so does he), so its probably worth your while to iron this out.

I can sympathize. I'm 59, DH is 60. I had a high sex drive until I had our daughter (now age 22), then I developed a lot of health issues. The sex drive slowed to a crawl (to put it mildly--pretty much non-existent). Menopause hit me a few years ago, and my sex drive has kicked into high gear in the past six months. It's now higher than it's ever been.

DH was diagnosed with low testosterone about 1-1/2 years ago. (We didn't know he had that problem. I thought he was cranky because he is a 60-year-old construction worker and also thought he probably had diabetes because his dad did, so I nagged him into going to my endocrinologist.) It took about a year to get it adjusted with medication to where it's in the normal range now. The medication really does help with his attitude, and he doesn't seem quite as exhausted all the time as before. He's still an old construction worker, though. I don't know what kind of improvement the low T medicine has had on his sex drive because we hadn't been doing anything for a long time before it got adjusted to the normal level. Now, granted, he's not able to perform three or four times a night like he did 36 years ago, but he manages to perform quite nicely now. 8-D It appears he can have at least one good ejaculation a day.

I can't really say I like having a drive that's higher than DH's now, but I do think it's better to be this way than never revved up at all. ;-) I do have to restrain myself to keep from pawing him all the time. When he's been working 12 hours in the heat and humidity, it's a pretty safe bet he's not going to be very randy until he gets some sleep.

All of that to say this: Hang in there. Where there's a will, there's a way. I hope you are able to get things worked out to your liking soon too.

Thank you for saying something. I thought there was something wrong with me. After my divorce it seemed as if my sex drive went into overdrive. I had a lover who could keep up, but he ended up being married and the relationship ended. Now, I am crazy in love with my new lover, and the sex is awesome, but nearly not frequently enough....I feel as though I have lost my mind.

Melissa you haven’t lost your mind. Sometimes I wish I could do something to lower my sex drive. Even being on the pill doesn’t help. The sex is so much fun, but not nearly enough. It’s hard to want it so much more than he does. We used to be well matched in our 20’s. My drive was lower then and his was about the same so it was a good match, but now that’s not the case. He can say all he wants that its not my fault, but that doesn't change the fact that he just doesn't want me sometimes. It’s tough to deal with and it kills your self-esteem.

No, it's not just you. I was just telling DH last night that I'm sure my drive is higher now than it EVER has been. I told him I didn't even think about him this much when we were newlyweds! I sometimes feel like the proverbial old letch you see on TV--the dirty old man lying in wait to pounce on innocent young girls. It really does make a body feel wacky!

DH works very long hours in the heat at a job that's physically draining, so he's not nearly as accessible as I'd like. That coupled with his being right at 60 pretty much ensures there will be no action until he comes home and takes a nap. Then, when he's available, our daughter is usually around (she's in college and lives at home). Makes it very challenging to get together. I'm afraid that by the time we get a decent schedule going, one of both of us will have lost interest altogether!

I think that's what's so bothersome to me. For the first 15 years of our life together, DH was all over me. All the time. Constantly. It was aggravating, but it did feel good to know I was always wanted and desired.

Now it's me not being able to get enough of him, and he didn't have enough energy for his day BEFORE I got the massive increase in libido. I realize he's old and not the same as when he was a young man, but it doesn't help when I have a throbbing clit and he's passed out in the recliner. 8-(

You really aren't alone. I feel the need to pleasure myself multiple times a day, too. My boyfriend sometimes has to push me away because I'm too horny ALL THE TIME.

It is not a bad thing to have a high sex drive. I have moderate. Women have a normal sex drive and most women say they don't care about sex because a woman's sex drive is very sensitive. Can be affected by anything. Like drugs, illness etc. For me I have a different complaint please stop at my thread people. Its Help Help Help.
My goal is to take charge of my sexual life and not allow anything control it. To either become sterile naturally and perfectly or to get into a perfect relationship.
Why is your sex drive embarrasing to you? You are in a relationship. Why should you feel awkward. Sex is nothing less than a menance and an unwelcome visitor to someone who is not in a relationship, it is awkward and embarrasing. The society is not ideal. I am not a rich girl who can afford not to have goals marry at twenty as I wished but I am in the class where you have to work hard to keep the money coming in.
Be comfortable about your sex drive if its your nature. Drugs to kill sex drive abound but if you take them you will be frustrated.
Sex is strongly connected to your. Emotions. It is so critical that if abused can be horrible. Stay in your marriage and make the best of it. Enjoy what you have because it is your nature.
Unlike me, if you find drugs that will not destroy your emotions and mood and not make you feel stuffed up you can take them to kill your sex drive.
It would be a good thing If all people getting into relationships and commitment like that can feel that sexual desire. It means they would connect, explore and live!
Why masturbate when you are married. If you had a good time with your husband which is normal you will not be masturbating at work.
                    Invest in your relationship.

Masturbation as you put it can happen cos a person feels like doing it or the person decides to do it. Most times women masturbate because they chose to do it. Men masturbate because they are aroused. According to a school mate ...Ina Maduka, women often have minimal taste for sex which is true. I am grateful to all those who replied to HELP HELP HELP. The stuffiness and the drive is gone now. The drive I felt has disappeared totally. I am feeling numb but pain free. So I feel okay.
My suggestion is she should sleep with her husband more often. And help other women improve on their sex drive. According to that assertion about women's sex drive it is obvious that this can be cured. I want to be able to have a good sex drive when I marry and get into a relationship, incase my husband wants me to want sex from him. If he wants sex if not I really think sex should burn ever. It is dangerous and critical and calls for jealousy and all. Lady please I think she should post tips on how to keep your sex drive high all the time for women who want this.
Though imagine a woman becoming so and being unfaithful for this. Sex is a serious, hellish risk. Ladies on this note I say, goodluck with dealing with your sex drive.
