I'd say this started years ago, on and off. Although it got worse after having my son in 2013. I have directly told him numerous times how his lack of attention makes me feel, he changes his ways and says he knows he takes me for granted, but this only lasts a few weeks and he's back to his old ways. I literally told him today our marriage sucks and he said, I agree with you 100%. Well why havent you said something about it then?? Why am I the one to always bring up how unhappy I am? Seems to me if it was really bothering him, he would have brought it up with me. I'm not saying I'm perfect and never make mistakes, we are both at fault here.
I bought a book last week called 52 emails to reignite your marriage (or something along those lines), I can't remember the exact name of the book. Anyhow, it looks interesting and he said he's willing to participate in the exercises and activities, so we'll see where it goes from here. Thanks for all the awesome support and advice y'all have given!!!

Good. I'm glad he's willing to participate. Sounds like he's the passive aggressive type.......unhappy but blaming his unhappiness on things around him and harboring it, brooding on it rather than putting it out on the table.

Let us know how the 52 emails thing goes!

Well Wifey Nurse this a good start with admitting by you both that your marriage is not going well. Oh please let us know how this book works out for you both. I sure hope you can make this marriage work for you and hubby and more importantly staying together for your son.
