    I Love Pretty Lingerie.

Hi. I just love collecting and wearing pretty lingerie. I probably have more than your average woman, and nighties, well, nighties to die for.
My question is: Will I ever find a woman who doesn't mind my fetish?
I'm a pretty good looking man, and I do have a sense of humour. I'm not that shy about my choice in nightwear or the knickers I like to wear. But breaking the news to an unsuspecting future girlfriend is a little daunting.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

    Well Millicent,

    How old are you?

Surely, you have already dated at least once? And, ended up showing your wears?

I knew someone once that had this fetish and was intimate with him (long relationship). I found out about a couple months into it that he crossdressed at certain times. He was very male, not gay. He did have a fantasy about being a woman experiencing sex with another woman. I have to admit, it confused me at that period in my life. I wouldn't purposely seek out a relationship like that. However, if someone cares about you...I would advise you to tell them quickly, early on. It serves no purpose to hide it.

millicent...the internet is vast. Perhaps what you should do is to seek someone out on the internet who WANTS someone with your fetish. Then there are no surprises, everyone gets what they want etc.
        Cheers.

Its a very common fetish, and unrelated to sexual orientation. But - some women will find it disturbing. Maybe watch a copy of "stardust" with your next girlfriend (just kidding - well sort of).

I'm 44 years old, and sure I have "dated" The longest being a 10 year relationship. From early on in the relationship it was kind of plain that I had a fondness for wearing underwear that was predominantly aimed at the female market. lol..
She wasn't too keen so we never explored what could have been simple fun.
I don't understand why [as one poster here stated] women may find my choice in nightwear/underwear "disturbing". Not to their choice maybe, but disturbing is a little harsh.
When such practices as S&M, role play etc.. are deemed pretty much acceptable, and mainstream, WHY the deep intake of breath on this?
Surely there must be women out there that would welcome a male maid, dressed to please and raring to get on with all manner of chores. Yes I am progressive!

As to telling any future partner early on.
When would, how would one go about this?

            "Oh by the way I"....
"I just love your knickers, where can I get those".....
            "A friend of mine".......
            "Hi Honey, Surprise!".....
Maybe leave my panties lying around the house? Nooo.......

            Any suggestions?

              LOL

Surely you can whoo them just on your sense of humor.

              Thanks for answering the question.

Men love women in say "nurses uniforms stocking" others like men in sexy underwear it's not abnormal rather as you point out a fetish and we all have them trust me.

10 years is a long time, no wonder your nervous, a new start hey?

Been there, well still there ...

I think get to know her... Afford her desires, then slowly add yours in, chose your partner wisely one that is adventuous it's not like your saying you want a male in the equation?

And, satisfy her, to the hilt and slowly introduce what you like,

Kinky is cool... It's discovering whom you are, it's not boring and as long as you don't hurt each other then it's a fascinating live or path to go down.

I am also 44 I wish, um 45... But it's a new life so don't fear it, explore it and I think just do it gradually..

                Hi millicent,

You asked why women would find this quite "disturbing".

I am pretty open minded but honnestly would be in a chock state if I find out one of my boy friends was into this.

I guess the reason being that it would make me fear the guy was gay.
Now, don't get me wrong, I have no problems with someone being gay, it is just I would not like to have him in my bed, see the difference?

                Hmmmm....

I can only tell you how you could talk "me" into this and I am not sure if this would go for other women as well.

I would need to have a long(er) relationship with the guy and be totally convinced he is interested in women only, before the subject could be introduced.
A help would/could be internet information available on this subject the internet. Knowing other people are in the same situation, makes it less strange/weard/a thread.
I would need to discuss it for a while before going to the next step e.g. seeing the goodies.

Don't be mad, but I most probably would giggle a lot seeing a guy in womens underwear.
Not trying to offend you, just answering honestly.

                Good luck

I think the poster that said it may be disturbing is correct. *Some people* would find it disturbing, if it was not suspected ahead of time and it was not something they were into. Some women just expect men to like to wear *men's* underwear. Some women have no desire to see men in women's underwear. Just the facts.

How do you bring it up? I would be honest. First, I would hint a little so she might see it coming, or at least see something coming. You don't want it to come out of "left field". She might feel deceived or tricked.

I still do not understand this "women may find it disturbing" stuff. Women may feel threatened that something they deem to be solely their domain might be shared.
There seems to be some mental block when it comes to this subject.
Some men wear make up, often wear ear rings, all kinds of jewelry, and the fashion industry is pushing the male skirt. In times past, society had no problems with the flamboyant male. lol...
For how long have you seen all the japes about men in suits and wearing frilly knickers underneath?
I have on occasion, when the fancy takes me, worn skirts/dresses out to the shop etc. I don't do it for the stares an giggles I get, that's tiresome.
I do not pretend to be a woman, I take on a style of my own.. scary?..lol.. No its not scary in the least. I've sat around the table drinking with a bunch of men and women, and after the initial surprise we just get on with the normal social chit chat.
If women were as enlightened as they like to believe, then surely this is a none issue.
Going back to the "disturbing" reference, I'd be more worried by the S&M guy who after having his way turns into the Boston Strangler!
I think its going to take a lot of doing to get you lovely women to lighten up.
