    Get a life.

Not sure who this is addressed to but heres the deal the way I see it...

Im pretty open minded. To each his own and must admit that even some of my own aren't classified as average. However, I know some of my tastes are not of the "normal" variety and don't try to justify them otherwise. Nor do I take offense if I choose to share those tastes with others and they are not well received.

The disturbing issue of a man wearing womens underwear is well, it's not "normal" or a part of average. Being offended by it not being an accepted practice... you know dang well it's not on the want to do list for most men.

I personally do not find anything attractive about a man in womens undergarments or lacey skivies. It is for me a turn off. If I were to be in that situation I would wonder why, whats the motive? I would also wonder if I were to strap one on and use a cup with a jock strap would you be so inclined as to not be a bit "disturbed?" Bottom line, womens underwear were made for women's bodies They are designed to contour to women's curves and crevices. Just like the jock strap is made for men. Thats it and that's that. No ulterior motive. No hater. No ewww or sociatal unacceptance about it. It is just the way it is. So ya, if you are going to step outside that boundary you already know people are going to take notice and raise an eyebrow.

If wearing womens undergarments and whatnot makes you happy and you are doing it for your reasons, more power to you. It's nice to see someone stand up as it were and announce this is who I am. Watching you defend your position and stand up for your beliefs. Kudos to you. Trying to downplay it as normal? Reminds me of the poster that was born a male, felt female and forgot to mention the fact of her penis to her boyfriend and then got all bent out when all us other posters would not let him/her convince us that having a penis was a medical condition. That's just not the way it works.

Thanks Uneeklyme, I like what you say... but what is normal? Its all relative. Your norm may well be others nightmare.

I am probably going to sound like a hypocrite. Strapon sex (Where the women wears the equipment) is just sex to us. I don't dress up in male cloths and DH doesn't wear women's lingerie. Yes, I know some people get off on this and like to bend the genders. We just found it pleasurable and yes kinky. I think others do this activity and the focus is all about "power" like domination S&M etc. And it involves all sorts of leather, handcuffs and men getting spanked or whatever. Again... We don't do (or care) about that particular kind of kink. *Seems like nothing to do with sex and too much effort! ;-)

The men dressing as women? I "get" that some people have gender issues. That there are men who ought to be women. And women who ought to be men. The way I see this is that its medical and the people should be seeing an expert and getting it taken care of.

There are other people that I understand are into the "fetish" of whatever... They may be in love with high heels and find they need to be kissing one to climax or whatever. I don't pretend to get it because I (we) just are not into that.

On the most mild side we do like things like silk. Silk sheets for example. We have cotton sheets for winter but silk is very sexy. So I guess its a weak variation on lets say "Shoe Worship" or whatever its called. DH also likes to see me parade around in lingerie. He said the way I used to dress was "boring" and I admit I was never "into" lingerie that much. Who sees it when your single? Anyway, I've changed and it pleases him. Makes be feel like I'm as hot as my Avatar (I'm not btw) DH has bought me things he likes to see me wear. And our tastes while not exactly the same are close enough. I even started buying him some stuff like Silk Briefs from China (Ebay) that are pretty sexy and feel nice to him. In fact I think all his Tighty Whities are long gone. Is that "fem" I don't think so. Although my experience is that men's underwear in the US is THE most boring.

This is too far down the scale of Things To Worry About, to get all worked up about it. It affects no one but Mill and his partner (when he gets one) and does no harm to anyone. I've met people who are voluntarily into sexual stuff that has landed them in the ER! It's still strictly their business as long as it a private between consenting adults - although I would object as a taxpayer, to being asked to pay the medical bills. I responded to this thread just to get a feel for what is involved in this fetish -curiosity. It's not anyone's place to pass judgement on something like this. He's not kidnapping people and forcing them to watch his fashion show or demanding that all men be required to wear teddies - that brings a giggle, my hairy male dressed in lace would look about like a bull in a tutu. You just go for it Mill, there's too little fun in this world, if that's all it takes to make you happy more power to you. You are in theater related work, have you considered joining or starting a group that could use this 'interest' in that line, maybe look at men's fashions from the time of Louis 14 - 16th? Did you know the original ballet dancers were men in high heels?

            Thanks Wildchild well said.
I shall have a look around the fashion houses of Louis the 14th and 16th..lol...
It is odd however that some people view this subject as "disturbing".
Crikey.. Its hardly a new thing.
What can I say.. I sharnt be locking my knicker drawer yet, I shall carry on with whatever pleases as long as I don't involve unwilling partners it shouldn't be anyone else's worry.
I only posted the question on here to get a feel of general opinion.. Its been fairly mixed, but on the whole positive.... I think.

I live by the simple concept; an it harm none, do as you will. That can be pretty far reaching actually but no matter what you do there is always someone who will object. People lose their perspective pretty easily. I think most of the people on the planet are in a state of overwhelm and that makes it's hard for them to judge the relative importance of things.

Right. As I eluded, men wearing womens undergarments...in my world... is normal. On a whole though... not so much. It's not the AVERAGE Sunday drive so to speak. I know my normal does relate to other peoples nightmares. That's just it, I KNOW that. My normal is not widely practiced nor understood and I am the one that is "different" I am the one that accepts that. It doesn't deter me from my different practices, I am just acutely aware that it's not "normal" for most people and share those parts of myself only with those whom I feel can deal with it. I do not expect my different to be taken with a grain of salt when I share it. I do understand frustration when people judge or do not agree. I wonder why people can't just accept and be open minded and non judgemental and and and... I don't expect anything though and don't have time to be offended by reactions I know my not normal actions/thoughts bring about.

Not to pick out and capitalize on one sentence that is buried in 7 pages of words, some obviously placed more purposefully and carefully than others, but my opinion is that this statement (above) encapsulates the real issue.

I'm probably wrong as I am nearly constantly wrong about everything else (just ask my wife...she'll tell you). This is just my opinion.

Millicent...if you want to wear women's panties and underclothes, I have zero problem with that. I don't have a problem, Millicent if you are gay, or if you're bisexual, etc. That's totally up to you. I just reviewed the 7 pages of writings herein however, and I think that if you want to convince any number of people that you are just turned on by wearing women's underwear, that's fine, but in many cases your words and actions lead me to see something different...if it was as simple as you being turned on by women's panties, then this would be a 3 response thread. As it is, the more you say the more questions people have as to what is motivating you.

By case of creating a real basic, elemental example, if you are a manly man, and you just get turned on by wearing a woman's panties, then why have you selected a name like Millicent? This is pretty clearly a woman's name. So...although you have identified yourself from the start as a man, what is the "hidden" message with you picking a clearly female screen name? Maybe it's something just like wearing panties...you do it, it's "out there" but you just can't seem to bring yourself to admitting it even though you try to impress yourself on how well you hide it by engaging in 7 pages of discussion with many people who, if they're paying close enough attention, could call you on the game whenever they wanted?

Another example is: What is with making the statement above that I've quoted?!?! That statement would NEVER enter my mind MUCH LESS be something I would type out in this context unless it carried with it some truth. You seem too careful with your other words to have a slip-up like that Millicent and it not be a meaningful slip-up.

I'm sure that people are entertained by your uniqueness. I have to admit, that I find you interesting as well. I just don't think that what you're maintaining as being the core matter really is such.

Again, I am probably wrong, but some things just hit me as not adding up, and it's not just the couple of little examples I've listed above.

I am not writing this to call you out on the game, but I'm just wondering what is so difficult for you to face about yourself? Maybe we haven't gotten to it even yet. Maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about, but in any event, I think there is something major that gets to the crux of your issue that you're not telling us.

Ah Fire burns to the point! It's a game isn't it? Interesting sometimes to play along and see where it leads.

For goodness sake man, of course women will feel uncomfortable about it. You seem ultra confident to me and very self assured! Are you sure that you are not just enjoying talking about this and actually don't have a problem. It seems as if you have been into wearing women's knickers for quite some time and in that case you will understand that tranvestism is widely misunderstood in that men who are of this persuasion are usually assumed to be gay whereas in fact most are heterosexual. Honesty from the start is the sound advice you have been given - take it - if you truly need it!
