I look at him like I really want to (edit) him and ask him something silly like, what flavour crisps does he like

I smile a lot. Ask them about everything imagineable. Spend as much time around them as possible. Find ways to casually touch their arm or leg during conversation. I make eye contact for a longer period of time (more so than just a glance). Invite them to do things with friends. Remember little things about them to ask about later.
If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.

One thing that I apparently do, but don't realize (my friends always tell me I do it), is simply talk to him about things you have in common. And act really excited when you find out you both like it, ask questions, this and that. Not in that phony way though, I'm usually genuinely into it. Most often, I'm not even trying to flirt, or even interested, but my friends used to always think I was flirting by doing it. And apparently it gets the guy's interest, so there's one thing.

The thing I do on purpose, haha... and I did this when I met my boyfriend... is the little middle school type things. Like when I was sitting next to him, I would keep pushing the side of his knee with mine and make it seem like I was goofing around and playing a game with him. Things like that so he'll feel comfortable around me and know that I'm not some uptight chick. I'm aware of how obvious it is, but he thought it was cute. And I tease him all the time.

I'm extremely passive and definitely don't do anything until he shows signs of being interested, too. I'm surprised I've had any relationships at all! Otherwise, I'm just my usual self, talking way too fast. I do, sometimes, touch the guy's arm lightly if I'm really interested.

Nice, that is such a classic move but it always works on me...

Gawd. Seriously the more I like someone, the less I talk to him. Because I just get terrified. STILL!

DARNIT! I have missed out on SO many dates by not picking up on that. I used to wonder why that random girl was smiling at me...........and giving eye contant.

So once you get married, you're going to deprive your husband of your sweet voice completely?

How do you make a move if you're terrified? I guess you'd have to pray that he picks up on one of your signals? Which isn't always the best idea, cause some of us can be very dense when it comes to understanding hints.
