Did he have any previous warning signs? Was he given an MRI or PET scan or brain scan to determine the location of the lesions? what medications is he on? If he is seizing as often as you've written here in just a few days, he needs to be in a hospital not at home attempting to have sexual intercourse with you.

I may take this thread in another direction because something is really not making sense. If he only started seizing a couple of weeks ago, and if he has never seized previously what tests have they done to determine that yes indeed he has epilepsy? I would think, given the suddenness of the onset of his symptoms that he perhaps has something else.

He was diagnosed a month ago. The doctors are saying it's from stress and old trauma. He is on Keppra, Topamax, diazapam (sp?). He had several ekg's done. I am only supposed to call for an ambulance if the seizure last longer than 7mins.I may take this thread in another direction because something is really not making sense. Take it slow and take deep breathes. Whilst you focus on him, you're forgoing your own feelings, emotions and thoughts and that's not a bad thing at all. That's what constitutes someone in love.
Sometimes we have to forget ourselves in times of need.
But, having said that, you NEED somewhere to turn to, someone, when you need to cry or let your emotions out, I'm suggesting here. Especially, as you don't appear to have anyone to talk to, though your Mother would be right there for you and him, if you open up to her, she'd welcome the Mother Daughter Bond at a such a trying time.
Does he have another appointment with the Doctors? Given he's had two seizures in a month? Can he also go and get a second opinion?
He is going to need your support and 100% know you love him and are there for him, this isn't going be easy at the start but it will get easier and some form of normality will take place in the near future.PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

Well, don't do anything against his wishes. My fiancé wanted to tell his Mum and Dad about something recently and I strongly advised him that it was my business and only mine, to share if I wished to. It's not that I didn't appreciate that he "thought" that support would be good, it was that he went to talk about something personal without asking me.
But I would broach it in the sense that you support him over this, is it OK to get some support for yourself, by sharing it with your Mother.
As for you "hope" darling, TELL him you do, daily..PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

Hope you are finding out how much we really care for others
As I hope you are learning, we'll be here. Let us be your outlet, along with local support. You can never have too many people caring and rooting for you.
Above you say: "all i want is my man back healthy."
Nice. You're claiming him for yourself and you have his well-being at heart. See, now you're spilling true emotions along with needs. That's who you are - someone with basic desires, who is scared, and wants things to be 'normal'. You'll get there. Have patience. I know that's hard.Comment
