I have never been more confused than I am right now. Actually, I am so confused (and yes this is a contradiction) that things are almost clear. Marty's whole office was shut down and tomorrow is his last day at work. The night before he told me this I decided that I had to cut him out of my life. When I found out about his job I couldn't kick him while he was down. I did however tell him that after he was in a better state and things were going good again that I planned to leave. He threw a fit. He told me that I was a lousy friend. He said that I am his best friend and what is he supposed to do. He said it's not okay and that if I plan to stop talking to him then I should just stop now. I told him how I felt about him again and tried to reason with him that's too hard. I asked him to put himself in my shoes. That helped... He said he understood but that I am his best friend and he doesn't want me to go. I told him that I would stay and be here for him as long as he needs me. As long as things are the way that they are. He's accepted it but every now and then he makes comments like, my best friend is going to leave me. He'll say he really cares about me a lot. It's so hard! He says the only thing that's in the way is the distance. So... What the eff does that mean? Geeze... Why does he want me around? Why does he need me?

Marty NEVER told me that he was busy. We talk every single day. Tonight made things even more confusing. He said again tonight that the only reason we aren't together is because of the distance. I didn't bluff him. He then said if he gets 3 months severance pay that he will come visit. Lol... Jared is the guy I've been seeing for the last few months. This thread was created about Marty (my ex that I was with for a year and am still in love with. First guy I've ever truly loved) but Jared is my current boyfriend. If you can call him that.
