To Dude and Wilhelm
To Dude: Wilhelm is absolutely correct regarding his previous thread and providing us with the Website regarding the self destruction within the Porn Industry. SO what! If PORN addicts would like to explore the possibilities of recovery via Religious Web Sties, that is their decision and whatever works for them, as long as it works!the problem with whilhelm is he assumes alot of things, he assumes that everyone that looks at porn is an addict. would he assume that people who consume alcohol are all alcoholics. no and porn is no different.
he likes to feed the lie that porn destroys relationships, no it does not, porn has not destroyed my relationship, or any of my friends relationships.
i would ignore whilhelms one sided opinion and do you're own research on the subject, although i would avoid any religious web sites if you want a unbiased opinion.
To Wilhelm: Thanks for providing your valuable information and Input. Also, if you get a chance to rent a movie, please rent the 2001 Lifetime movie "Sex, Lies & Obsession" based on a true story.
Real Life married T.V stars: Lisa Rinna and husband Harry Hamlin play the "real life" story of a PORN addicted husband, father (he is a Medical Doctor) and his wife is a school teacher. Stars:
Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna have been happily married for many years and at a Lifetime TV interview they stated that these acting roles were so intense regarding PORN addiction that they had to have a Psychologist for couples counseling sessions "on the set" when they acted in this movie. I showed this movie along with other PORN addiction type of movies to my Porn Addicted husband hoping that it would help him to STOP his porn addiction. Unfortunately, it did not help him. Perhaps it may help someone else!Last edited by Gia; 10-05-2007, 05:53 PM.Comment

To Kimmiko
,
Dude sounds like a young and inexperienced person. It will be a matter of time after which his spouse and he have children, then his wife will no longer accept the PORN. He will be in for "the shock of his lifetime" when his wife will no longer except the porn! I wonder what she will do to handle this situation!Comment

Question To Whilhelm?
Whilhelm,
At my divorce hearing, the attorneys want to state on the Final Draft of the Divorce Decree: Dissolution of Marriage due to Irreconcilable Differences. I am pleading with my attorney to state Dissolution of Marriage due to husband's PORN Addiction. I will fight this until my divorce states the truth and "not sweep his addiction under the carpet." Apparently, Irreconcilable Differences are stated because after I researched this in the Law Library, the truth will breach various confidentiality Laws!
My philosophy is not to embarass my husband's PORN addiction by making it "public record" but to state the truth! I feel that if more Divorce Decrees state the truth such as PORN Addiction, then our country can obtain an actual percentage rate of Marriages ending in Divorce due to PORN addiction, that way, if there is a survey regarding this, then perhaps our President who happens to "preach Family and Moral Values" can try to Ban the PORN and make it illegal, despite the Freedom of Speech Amendment! There needs to be attorneys who are willing to "set a precedent at at their state capitol!
What is your Advice?Last edited by Gia; 10-06-2007, 12:33 PM.Comment

not familiar enough with divorce law to give advice. guidelines differ by state sometimes - are you in the states?
there is a statute that people use sometimes regarding - these are not the words, but it's along these lines - one spouse subjecting the other to prurient, cruel treatment. it's often used when porn & illicit sexual behavior is present but an affair is hard/impossible to prove.
the attorneys are probably avoiding a drawn out litigation. divorce settlements often are reached on ground that is not exactly common - in the interest of resolving quickly. arguing each detail to it's "true" conclusion can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
you might think about which is more important, disolving the marriage expediently or making sure the details reflect the truth.Last edited by Guest; 10-08-2007, 04:15 AM.Comment
