Everyone is different. Me I need to know everything... every little detail. Some people think we punish ourselves for wanting to know, how I see it, I have a very active imagination and I need to know everything otherwise I spend hours wondering and thinking of what could have happened. The logic of men is fascinating sometimes... There could be a thought pattern where he thinks that texting is better than physically doing the act which makes it ok. It is justifying to himself that it is ok to send these messages.
You know he has done before so you know he is capable. At the end of the day is finding out whether he did have relations to her or not going to help build this relationship back or make it easier for you to leave?
Some advice Im not sure how you are going to find out, but, if you are going to ask her, try and do it by text so its written down, that way if she does say yes then you can try and recollect dates and times. She has nothing to lose and no reason not to be honest, having said that she could be bitter that the "relationship" is over..

It may have been that you left it out, but, I am curious, did you ever go to counselling? Did your wife and yourself sit down and really talked indepth about why the intimacy is the way it is ?
As a woman I can understand your reasoning why you did what you did and I will not judge you for that. I am just hoping you tried everything else before resorting to doing what you did. From my man I need him to constantly be sorry for what he has done (I only found out about the pictures my guy sent a few days ago).. I need him to see how much that had hurt me.
Some women aren't as affectionate as others. I am one of them. My guy still cant tell me why he did what he did, he just "went with it" apparently.
He needs to show me that he isn't hiding anything from me now, so his phone is open for me to view at anytime, he is aware that I can blow up about it anytime, he has cut all ties, changed his phone number and deactivated the evil facebook.
She will always be doubting you and wondering if you are doing it again, you need to be completely open and ask her how can you help put her faith back in you again? If it means leaving your phone for her to access or your computer, then that is up to you. Be warned, if you say no she will think you are hiding something.
Bottom line, what will you do to make this relationship work, then, if you ever get past this, what will she do for you so that you are getting what you need out of this relationship.. I wish you luck.

I just found out last night that my husband did have sex with the young tramp that lives near his friend in Florida. I am so hurt and sick to my stomach. I cant believe that my husband met this dirt bag, started texting her back and forth 300 times, had sex with her and then had the nerve to lie to me and act like I was making a big deal out of the situation! He claimed that she seduced him while he was very lonely and vulnerable and that she showed up at his apartment in her underwear! Well, he obviously gave her the address and let her know that it was OK to sashay over and jump in bed with him. I just got back from spending 10 days with my husband in Florida and it makes my skin crawl to think that I laid in the bed that he probably screwed her in. He has texted me probably 60 times since last night begging me to forgive him and give our marriage one more chance. This is the second time that he has had a so called "one night stand" with another woman in ten years. This was not an accident! He engaged in sexy texts and it is only common sense that this would result in sealing the deal in bed. The lying is just despicable. Cheaters act like everything is going OK and avoid any reference to their behavior while they go about their business betraying their partner. I would have much more respect for someone who said, " honey, we are having some problems, lets work on our relationship to prevent anything bad from taking place". He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. I am heartbroken and dont know what to do. If I tell friends or family, they will hate his guts and think I am nuts to stay with him. My therapist is not available for three days. I am losing it.

I believe that he could be on the verge of being a cheater. It could just be something fun for him,but I wouldn't trust it. I believe the texting could lead to other things like "meet me here"..

Well, I found out what he was hiding- the fact that he slept with one of the text message friends. He finally fessed cup last week after lying about it for three months. He has nothing to do with either of these women but I will be very leery of him for a long time to come. Trust is so precious and I am heartbroken over what has happened.

                  Hi There

I was a Samaritian Phone Councilor in London, England for 5 years
( google "the smaritians" to learn more) and would like to give you this advice....

If he is texting any other lady but you in a romantic way your husband has
already commited adultery with her in his heart....its in the bible honey and
Im big on the good book ...I advise you to calmly confront him but not attack
him verbally in anger and give him a chance to confess it...once he does just
ask him why he has put your marriage at risk...please let me know how it all goes?

                  God Bless
                  Evie
