Kiyomi sounds like she thinks more like I do. Like she does not want Chaya to have two partners. Is Kiyomi giving you an ultimatum, Chaya?
Personally, the best decision Chaya can make is the one that is least detrimental to her daughter. If Chaya chooses Kiyomi, I would hope it is because Chaya got a commitment from her husband that he would stay in their daughter's life (i think such an arrangement would work for the child).
But would Kiyomi be OK with your ex-husband being involved in your daughter's life? If she says "no," then I think you've learned all you need to know about Kiyomi. I'd kiss her goodbye at that point because I woud not trust someone that would take such a malicious position (I know, I am being assumptive here).
I make this argument on the basis that your husband is a "good" guy, and that he is not one of those guys you should keep from seeing his daughter because you feel him being around her does more harm than good. I will also disclose that I feel strongly about kids ALWAYS coming first."Are you serious? You're bleeping THAT girl?" - jen1447Comment

For those of you that don't know, Misako is not our real daughter. I am her legal guardian, she is my sisters daughter. We intend to adopt her but it hasn't happened yet.
My husband has agreed to help me talk Chisaki into staying. She did agree to come over early tomorrow before hubby goes to work.sigpic

Wait, is it Kiyomi or Chisaki? I thought Kiyomi was the lesbian lady staying with you?
Also, your husband deserves a lot of credit for trying to get her to stay. My hope isn't that you and your husband stay together. What I am rooting for is that you and your husband can make your relationship ascend to new heights after all this. Maybe Kiyomi helped you learn more about yourself while lighting a fire under your husband's rear."Are you serious? You're bleeping THAT girl?" - jen1447Comment
