I am also very hairy. I am 18 years old and my butt hair embarrasses me. I am considering laser for it though. I got laser on my stomach area and I have only one treatment left. It is no where as hairy as before it looks so much better, and the hair that is left is so much thinner than before. For all of you who say laser doesn't work... its all about the person who does it and if you are a good candidate for it. Yes it is expensive though.. my stomach cost about $1,000. I am probably going to get my lower back/butt area done next, but I need to save up money and some how convince my parents to pay for part of it.. which is really hard. I do not shave my butt because I don't want it to get any thicker.
I personally do not like nair I once used it(on my stomach though) and left it on too long. And it left horrible burns and a rash.
And electrolosis is better for small areas and takes a long period of time because it takes out individual hairs (I get that for my face). So it is not really an option for my butt.

I'm still embarassed though to ask the laser lady to do my but, I just feel like it is so awkward...

i actually shaved my whole butt hair inside and around my penis and a few days later i was itching like . im trying to look for an easier way to save my butt hairs. and sometimes my upper leg hair gets really annoying as well. i dont have any body hair because its just annoying and makes me look and feel good but the times when i need to groom it takes almost 2 hours.

I've tried Vaniqa for about two years and it didn't do anything for me, it's about $90 a tube.

if ya read my post, im prolly doing equilivant to buying that, im still trying it now and then...it such a time consumer the method i use of epilation n exfoliation......but to me its worth doing....really exfoliating does hurt that much, you really do feel it but if you spread the skin tight as much as possible and opt for nights more than other times its not that bad, actaully good way to wake myself up even in the morning.

Hey - dont worry about asking a professioal who specializes in hair removal about your hind end. BELIEVE me when I say they have seen it all. If they thought it was weird, they wouldnt be doing it. They have definately seen worse!!

Butt Hair

Its not something I really worry about...We all have it. I don't have a lot but I do have some and I shave it regularly as I do my vaginal area. I haven't had any issues with it growing back thicker. Sometimes, I get an itch or two but nothing really serious.

I saw some asking about shaving techniques because they have a difficult time getting back there as much. I typically don't have any hair on my cheeks really, its all in between and right around my butt hole on the left and right of it(or the inside of my cheeks).

I may be a little more adventurous than the average girl(I'm 21 by the way) but I am a very sexual person and being that I've been shaving back there and in front for several years now, it was only natural that I found some ways to get the job done and have fun too(when I'm in the mood and not in a hurry of course!!).

I usually start shaving my underarms, then my legs then up to my coochie and once that is done down to my butt crack, I only have the couple tufts of hair to each side of my hole to worry about and I've had an experience or two that resulted in a little nick or cut when trying to reach back and spread/shave from the inside out. I guess I started a little too close to the hole where the skin isn't as even.

Anyway, I discovered a method I prefer when I do have the time and I discovered it by accident while simply experimenting with my body. Don't laugh, but I will actually get a little worked up in the shower as us girls can do from time to time and slide the shaft of the razor inside my booty...slowly working it it so its comfortable and when its in all the way, not only does it feel having me feeling randy, but I can press the razor lightly to the inside of my cheek on each side and slide it in further and poof!! The shaving is done and I have a great end to my shower...I have everything I need to clean properly when I'm done and get out of the shower.

LOL....I realize there are probably some who are thinking yeah right...but as I said, only for the more adventurous girls!!

So I waxxed it and my boyfriend loves it.


I recommend shave or waxx. My friend had the same problem. I told her to waxx and she didn't listen to me. Her last 5 boyfriends dumped her. Her sixth one said she was a man with a sex change operation. The nerve. She is finally listened to me and now has a boyfriend who loves her for her smooth .

embarrasing hair

I can relate to many of you with the hair thing. I'm now in my 30s and this began around 12 years of age, i immediately started shaving the area and it is around the anus and the cheeks which the cheeks is mainly because I started shaving my legs all the way up. I am married and my husband doesn't know that I know of or he hasn't said anything and I too am embarres. I have found that the epalady isn't as bad. I also tried bleaching which you have to be very careful not to get it near the vagina hole. If you are young I would advise you not to shave.
