    hey sweety79

Hey No even with all the medication it has never gone away, just got bv one day last year out of the blue and had it ever since i wasnt even having sexual intercourse around the time, I honestly think its to do with my surgery!!
i have yet another appointment at gyno even no its a waste of time they look at you as if your mad, Its Ridiculous.

i am gonna get a culture done, dont no why tho because the medication dosnt work i no that already.

Some times it think its got better than the next day its just back to normal, Its strange, i have completely changed my diet, all fruits, veg, fruit juices, eating yoghurt, exercise, everything and still not gone.

Im now using yoghurt and bit of tea tree oil mixed in at night, its helped alot, but still not gone.
And taking pro- biotic s daily too,
    Just keep praying :/

Okay so I stopped the garlic thing because during my second day of using it, I started to smell hoooooorrible!! To the point where I had to tightly cross my legs whenever someone else was around!

I'm a fan of the tea tree oil, though. It hasn't really... improved things too greatly... but it does make me smell nice, and clean, so that's a bonus.

      I'll try diluted vinegar tonight.

Recently the docs said that this time its not BV but I have white blood cells which means another type of infection... I have been tested to everything and the test were negative.. I am so frustrated.. I have tingling in me legs and knees.. I also have irritation around my anal area.... I hate my vagina..

Im close to giving up, i could lose my flat because they want to stop my money because im not working, Im currently on ESA but they want me to fight at court to see if i should carry on working Its catch 22, CANT WIN!!

Pls ladies any advice would be grateful its like a constant battle with Doctors/Gyno's/Goverment and anyone else that dosnt understand.

I pray to God for a cure so i can get my life back!!
I'm a Customer Service Rep & have frequently changed jobs & lost jobs due to absences because of BV. I have a close circle of friends that know of BV & some also suffer from it as well. We found this out after I shared my story, they had been too embarrassed to share with me as well.

It does effect me but I've found that if I talk about it with a friend or my husband, I feel somewhat better.

          I hope that this helps.

Wow!!! That's why I stayed away from the garlic. I was too afraid of what kind of smell it may cause. I tried to eat it raw and it burned my tongue so I thought it best to keep it away from my va j j. I read an article recently and this woman was advised to take 1200 mcg of folic acid ( iron pills ). Take three a day for five days. I'm trying this now especially due to the fact that bacteria will stem from a weak immune system and mine has always been weak and my iron has always been low. I'll post back to see what happens. I stay away from the douches myself because they have always caused a problem for me.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Folic acid is a vitamin, and iron is a mineral. They are two different things.

I'm currently trying lactoferrin, which enables us to absorb the iron better from the food that we eat. It is also anti candida and anti bacterial etc. I will report back, as I'm currently going through a bit of a candida detox with it (die off symptoms).

Allow Me To Clear Things Up

There is a level of IRON intake on your body. Foods high in iron are things such collard greens and spinach to name a few. FOLIC ACID will help to raise the iron levels in your body. Having LOW IRON can cause fatigue in your body and can also be one of the causes for a weak immune system. Antioxidants and foods rich in antioxidants can help your immune system as well. Having a weak immune system can cause your body to be vulnerable against colds, illnesses and bacterias....bacterial vaginosis and yeast being some examples. Hope that cleared things up. Sorry for now being specific sweets. Yes, you're correct in stating that iron is a mineral and it is one of the essential minerals and vitamins that you will find in the suggested servings box on most of the foods that we eat.

Ah I see what you're saying, thanks. I think vitamins B2 and B12 are somehow part of the equation too (although I'm fuzzy on the details).

I actually think that I have been low in iron for years, despite taking an iron supplement. Blood tests have never picked this up, but I think you have to be really low (clinically anaemic) for the tests to pick up anything outside of the normal range. It's very early days for me, but I do think the lactoferrin is helping. I'm currently on my period, and things feel much more normal 'downstairs'.

i got yeast infection that might lead to BV, i changed my Doc after 2 times treatment that yeast always comeback, so i go to another hospital meet my new doc, i'm so happy she taking this very serious, she tell me i can't have a baby if i still have this "yeast"

so she give me therapy called Diathermy (short wave diathermy diathermy with high-frequency current, with frequency from 10 million to 100 million cycles per second and wavelength from 30 to 3 meters.)

an injection 1/day for 10 days ( sory i dont remember what it is name, i'm too focus to the pain)

and for everyday treatment she give me antibiotic for 2 weeks
something put orally called CANESTEN 1/ day before sleep

to clean the "V" thing she gave me albothyl (15 drops mix with water.. a lot water) once every 2 days.

ofcourse like you all know i don't wear jeans again only skirt now, change my tissue into a hard one, bring extra panties change it everytime it start wet.
                      gain my imunity system.

1 month treatment 3 time change antibiotic, i think the doc try to lower the dose.
after that no more odor or hurt, or ichy. the sex was great i can feel again after 3 month, and it's been great for now.

i write this just to tell you what i've been trought with my doc, i hope it can help.
good luck for all of you and sory for my bad english
