Oh and maybe a woman might not admit to liking sex... if she is actually not liking it. Just because you put your penis in a woman doesn't mean she is going to enjoy it. There are so many facets to what makes sex enjoyable to a woman from attraction to how much attention to detail her lover pays in order to make her experience pleasure.
If the experience is not pleasurable to her... it might lead her to not wanting to inniciate a dissapointment.
I am not saying that is what is happening with you but if you are heckbent on believing someone your with likes sex but won't admit it ... you should maybe communicate with her and find out if shes actually enjoying what you are doing.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

It's called society... A woman who enjoys sex, is deemed all sorts of less than pleasant terms, a man, however, is a rockstar. Same thing with men, if he doesn't enjoy sex as much as society deems he should, well, then something is wrong with him.
So, because of society, women tend to hide what they truly want in this arena. It's not appropriate for a woman to want to ride the 'bone rollercoaster' 24/7.
Well I can understand that some people think it's inappropriate for a woman to initiate sex if it's for a one night stand. But if you are in a long term relationship whats the harm in a woman initiating sex then? I don't think any man would dislike it if his wife or girlfriend initiated sex.Comment

Well darlin' a lot of them THINK they would like it but if they actually have it, that's another story. I doubt very much that as a man you would find any men willing to admit it. We get women talking about it all the time.Well I can understand that some people think it's inappropriate for a woman to initiate sex if it's for a one night stand. You may not dislike it. But several women have already said on this thread and all over this board that their SO doesn't like it. Sorry to keep bringing that point to your attention but its one you keep missing.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

There is a macho man factor that comes with being able to perform all the time, wanting sex all the time... what guy is going to admit to friends that he actually doesn't desire sex every 5 seconds... or maybe he "desires" it... but doesn't have the physical stamina to perform it every 5 seconds.
They want to be seen as stud pleasure machines, when its just not practical. Most guys are not able to go - go- go like energizer rabbits even if they wish they could.
There is a difference between WANTING sex all the time and actually having the energy to perform it all the time.
A guy that is with a woman not interested in sex, or a single guy that doesn't have it available to him is probably going to feel more strongly that if only he COULD have it.. he would always always want it as badly...
But if he has a woman on his lap 24/7 that is just waiting on him to catch his breath and go again he may realize that there is a huge difference between the fantasy of wanting sex all the time to actually having sex all the time. And thats likely when they start rejecting, or becoming indifferent to inniciation attempts by their s.o.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

And along these lines what man is going to admit (especially to another man) that his S/O wants sex all the time and he simply can't keep up.There is a macho man factor that comes with being able to perform all the time, wanting sex all the time... what guy is going to admit to friends that he actually doesn't desire sex every 5 seconds... or maybe he "desires" it... but doesn't have the physical stamina to perform it every 5 seconds.
There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.Comment

Yeah but no woman wants sex 24/7. There is a difference between a woman initiating sex from time to time and a woman who is addicted to sex and wants to have it all the time. I personally find it hard to believe that men would dislike it if their girlfriend/wife initiated sex sometimes.... I do believe that if the woman wanted to and tryed to intiate sex all time then it would be a turn off, then the man would obviously start to reject the woman more because as you say men don't want to have sex all the time. But that's a whole different matter and it's not what I mean when I say I don't think that any man would dislike it if his wife or girlfriend intiated sex. There is a macho man factor that comes with being able to perform all the time, wanting sex all the time... what guy is going to admit to friends that he actually doesn't desire sex every 5 seconds... or maybe he "desires" it... but doesn't have the physical stamina to perform it every 5 seconds.

Now we are on two totally different subjects. I admit to my want for sex, but I don't initiate. But as I stated before, every woman is different. My husband and I talk about sex all of the time. Initiating is a totally different thing.
Why don't some women want to admit it? I think you missed a lot that was said on page seven.
