Ok, so just because he rejects you in his sleep you don't intiate sex at all? I'm shure that if you initiated sex while he was actually awake you would never get rejected.

Men don't like to be rejected either. And I think men have a much higher sex drive than women so the chance that you would get rejected if initiating is slim to none while if a man initiates sex he is alot more likely to get rejected.

And no, I don't initiate it at all because I'm spoiled and I know he always will because he is in tune with my needs....except when he is asleep!!! lol Every woman is different and I am one who is pristine in my own right so I choose not to because I was asked to do so and then rejected. Some women may not have it in their nature at all. some of us want it just as bad but don't feel the need to let it be known because we already know that the man will make his move...being in tune with your woman's needs.

It is not a men/women thing. It's a people thing. You can't put all women in the box just as you can't put all men in the box.

Yes, some women have a very high sex drive and some men have a very low sex drive. Some women have a very low sex drive and some men have a very high sex drive.

Hmm, well maybe it's just me but if I had a girlfriend and she never intiated sex I would assume she didn't like it and feel like she didn't love me. Though I suppose I will just have to learn to live with it because women are like that.

I am a woman and I personally think men on average have a higher drive, but I do not it is a resounding majority of the average. There will obviously be plenty of women who do have a high sex drive but again, personally, if things were taken by an on average basis I think women would be the ones with less drive. Often people (regardless of sex) who are in the minority love to think of themselves as the majority to get their point across and gain as much "me too's" to make their frustrations a little easier to deal with.

I think we all have our own ways in doing so. I can say,"I'm going to take a nap" and he follows me in the room to have sex. I can come to bed in a thong and he will initiate sex. I think SOME women know that we really don't have to DO anything, if we walk past you guys in from of the T.V. in some footie pajamas, YOU WOULD WANT TO HAVE SEX!!! lol

"Common Knowledge" changes. The idea that men have the higher drive is fairly recent on the historical timeline really. It was "common knowledge" for a long time that women were highly sexual, horny beings - more sexually driven than men.

Religions and governments are always looking for ways to control people. Women who are empowered in all aspects of their lives including finances and sexuality, can be quite a force. This hasn't suited those who would rule. Women and women's sexuality became focal points in the effort. People who have balanced, sexually satisfied lives are a lot harder to sell on living with deprivation and waiting for a "reward" in the afterlife. By playing one gender against the other, belittling and subjegating one, inducing guilt in both and generally taking most of the joy out of relationships, one heck of a control tool was developed. Look at how the major religions all treat women. It tells the story. They are scared to death of unleashed female sexuality.

I initiate it frequently. I've even been known to be so bold with it he couldn't get away if he wanted to.
