Actually research into brain activity - isn't it wonderful what they can do these days - have found that women are just as visuallly stimulated as men. But for the most part women have not been condtioned to respond to it. So I discount that whole bit about men and a "need" for visual stimulation.

One reason might be that a lot of men don't have provocative pictures of their wives/girlfriends in the first place. But then again I remember reading on this very forum how a woman did supply pictures like that to her husband and he STILL preferred porn. I just don't know.

They would probably be so demoralised that they would never get another erection. It is not surprising to see a Christmas light show on an fMRI when a woman simply looks at a sex related image....its what neurons do best lol. But the question was why men still have some 'need' to oggle other women and I totally agree that if things were reversed that men would hang their heads in embarrassment. Sometimes I wish they would just to know how demoralizing it can feel.

Ladies have you ever fantasized about another man or woman while masturbating or even during sex with your SO? Even if you dont know whom this person is, it may be just that they are older or younger, shorter or taller. Would that not be the same thing as a guy looking at porn for variety?

I completely agree that porn can be dabilitating to a relationship but so can too much TV or compliments for that matter, balance and communication about these things is what makes or breaks couples.

I kinda figured that my visual comment would be blown out of the water lol. In better terms I think that men arnt creative enough to come up with the fantasies that us women do to get off therefore they turn to porn to do the work for them.

I do however admit that porn gets me off faster than a fantasy for the most part so being visual wasnt the best wording.
