Size does matter to a lot of women why? Because, they obviously do not know their own body and how it was built to accomodate, "any size", perhaps and therefore, they need to learn about their body, or if that is not the case, then they are not serious about the man they are with, have no feelings for him and purely want to "use" his penis for their own ride I mean it's not as if she is going to show her girlfriends now is and if she is going to "discuss" it with her friends, can't help herself, then it's superficial as to why it matters and there, well who wants a woman talking to other women about your body parts, same goes for us women...

Well caring about breast size is purely for superficial reason and that is similar to a girl wanting a man with six back abs, broad shoulders or V shape body. The size of a guy's penis can be compared to/put in the same category as the wetness of a woman's vagina or maybe how tight she is. Women care about the size of the guy's penis because it has to do with how satisfied they are in their sex life, which is a very important thing in a relationship.Comment

A woman can have a satisfying sex life with her partner even if he has a small penis. To think otherwise is being close-minded and shallow. Therefore, to care about the size of a guy's penis is also purely superficial.Well caring about breast size is purely for superficial reason and that is similar to a girl wanting a man with six back abs, broad shoulders or V shape body. Some women don't even need to have intercourse to actually have good sex and they're satisfied with just getting head alone, others like to feel a man filling them up and deep inside them.
Some women just can't have a satisfying sex life with a man with a small penis. It's not even about what turns the person on, it's about what they feel. You have no right to speak for all women and decide what is satisfying for everyone. Just because something works for you doesn't mean it works for everyone.
Also putting breast size and penis size in the same category just makes it sound like women don't actually enjoy the act of sex it self.Last edited by CHANDLERS WISH; 07-31-2011, 01:12 PM.Comment

did not say that every woman on the planet has had satisfying sex with a man who has a small penis. My point was that satisfying sex is not and should not be about the size of a guy's junk. It is about sharing, and connection. Women are certainly entitled to a preference, but to base the quality of her sex life on the size of her partner's penis, something he has NO control over, is being shallow and close-minded. There are plenty of things that can be done to improve one's sex life, small penis or not.A woman can have a satisfying sex life with her partner even if he has a small penis.
There are plenty of women who simply do NOT care or put any emphasis on size. I happen to be one of them, as are many on this forum.Women care about the size of the guy's penis because it has to do with how satisfied they are in their sex life, which is a very important thing in a relationship.Last edited by CHANDLERS WISH; 07-31-2011, 01:12 PM.Comment

What do we look for in a mate that isnt shallow to some extent? Height, body type, smile, eyes, facial symmetry are all purely cosmetic and superficial. I will also argue that intelligence is genetically predetermined, does that mean preferring to date smarter people is vain and superficial? I would also suggest that a person's sense of humor is developed when they are young, and it isnt something most people choose to shape in their own way. At least the size of one's pocketbook is something they have most likely earned on purpose. Is dating for money less vain than dating for intelligence? Basically, the things that we look for in a mate that ARE NOT genetically predetermined (I am inferring shallow from genetic predisposition as we have no control over our genes) are things that can and do and change over a person's life. If you choose your mate solely on variables that change, how can you know what you are getting?
Im not saying we should condone people basing their choices purely on one physical trait or another, but people shouldn't have to apologize for what, they feel, they like.
I understand that this place is very PC and spends a lot of time catering to peoples delicate sensitivities, but does every person that expresses a personal preference need to be chastised and labeled as shallow? At that point are we criticizing people for being critical of others?Comment

Nobody here has said that having a personal preference is shallow. What HAS been said, a few times now, is that when those preferences take precedence over things like personality and emotional connection, is when it becomes shallow and superficial. Things like personality, intelligence and a sense of humor have to do with personal compatibility, which above all has to be established, or there simply isn't going to be a relationship that lasts, or has any real meaning beyond the physical. Relationships, at least the vast majority of them, are not built on physical traits or the size of someone's wallet. They are built on personality, compatibility and emotional connection. What do we look for in a mate that isnt shallow to some extent? Sure, I like to date a guy who is intelligent. Does that make me shallow and critical of men who are not as smart as I am? Of course not, because I don't let that preference override my overall opinion of someone as a person, and I don't place a person's value on that preference. Therefore, I am not going to write a guy off just because his level of intelligence doesn't match or exceed my own. Same goes for other things as well.
I think we are starting to move away from the original purpose of the thread, so I'm going to stop there.Comment

Fair enough, it seems I am getting hung up on the semantics of it all. Caring vs having a preference, and so forth.Nobody here has said that having a personal preference is shallow.
