As far as the does size really matter debate, I agree with most, it all really boils down to personal preference. You might as well argue over which color is the most attractive.

I'm posting this for the insecure men who have let this become an issue or obsession. This is my story. It is absolutely true and I have nothing to lose or gain by telling it.

I am a rather small guy in build. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. I have always had a problem with my stature and was teased repeatedly when younger with nick names and so on. Up until a few years ago I really had no problem with penis size. At 5.75" X4.5" I didn't see myself as large nor did I feel small. Having been a nice looking fit guy and the front man and lead guitarist for several bands, I had no problem getting women. I had no compaints in the size department either.

Fast forward... In 2003 my wife of 13 years had an affair and we divorced. In the aftermath she was kind enough to tell me how her lover was much better equipped than me and how much she enjoyed it. Thus was born a new insecurity.

I remarried a couple years later but always had the nagging size issue in the back of my head. My gut instinct was that she did it out of spite to hurt me but there was always the what if; plus the fact that my new wife and I had amazing sex. She would have mind blowing mulitple orgasms and just lie there and quiver. This struck a chord with my ego, but one night after a deep discussion about sex she stated her ex-husband was probably 2 inches larger than me. Newly gained confidence.... out the window.

Over the next few months I began to obsess with my penis size. See the posts from "depressed", I was almost at that point. After googling everything I could think of about penis enlargement I came across a popular natural penis enlargement site. What intrigued me was that it was free. There were no ads, no one selling anything. The site boasted that if you performed the "exercises" you could gain size. I am by nature a skeptic and a cynic.

Having nothing to lose, I started the beginners routine. After about 2 weeks I measured. I was 6.0" X 4.5. I thought I had probably just measured wrong at first but never-the-less my erections were getting stronger so what the heck, I continued. After about 1 month I measured again. I was 6.25" X 4.625". From there I went gung-ho. I bought an extender, pump and various other paraphernalia. After about 18 months the gains slowed and eventually stopped. My final size was 7.44" X 5.0." A gain of 1.8" X .5"

Were the gains permanent? Somewhat, I am now 7.25" X 4.875". The exercises involve stretching the penile tissue and eventually it requires more and more time to get results. It requires a LOT of dedication, just like any other exercise or body building program. Lots of guys start but not many stick with it long enough to see any real results. I would really like to get more girth but now that I am divorced again, I lack the motivation. Maybe one day I will resume.

As a side note, my wife was aware of my program and did notice the size increase. However, my larger size did not equal better sex. The best results came from my improved confidence.

Am I suggesting all insecure guys rush out and do this? No, but if you are depressed and desperate, it is an option. If you go this route don't pay for infomation, it's readily free and easily found with any search engine.
It is the same thing for women, A guy will tell them off-handed that another woman has a nice chest and the they will obsess about it. Then what plastic surgeons say to make money will take root in them and all of a sudden they need an operation. Guys would be the same way if there was an easy surgical technique.

It is amazing that you let two women steal your joy, even though you knew how to get an endless stream of women. Maybe you should have asked your second wife if she wanted to go back to her ex to get the two inches she was missing. I wonder what she would have said. I'll bet she would have stayed with the orgasms and only slightly missed those two inches. When you extended and enlarged your penis, did your wife have even more orgasms? Did your break up have anything to do with your spending so much time extending and enlarging your penis?
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
    ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

What is interesting was my 2nd wife, who mentioned her ex was 2 inches larger, could only recall having one orgasm with him in 13 years and he used a vibrator on her then. She stated on many occasions that he was lousy in bed and only concerned with pleasing himself. I am the only other man she has been with and she always found it hard to belive that I was more concerned about pleasing her than myself. My primary focus was making sure she was totally satisfied. I got more pleasure out of giving to her.

Actually, my becoming larger had virtually no effect on our sex life. She would comment at times that it felt bigger or looked bigger but always insisted that it didn't really matter to her. At times she could have multiple orgasms through intercourse alone (before and after) and at other times we resorted to our arsenal of toys. We had some that were larger than me but I was never in the least intimidated by using them. She would get to a point and tell me to put that thing away and give her the real thing. She actually was more orgasmic in the beginning of our marriage when I was smaller. I'm sure this was because our relationship was fresh and new and had nothing to do with size.

Our breakup was not due to my time spent on my penis it was due to trying to mesh two step-families. We fought like cats and dogs. She had two sons and I had two daughters and none of them were happy with the situation. Our sex life was the best thing about our marriage. She once commented she could never leave me because the sex was too good, but I guess that just wasn't enough in the end. She was ok with me enlarging myself and never really fussed about the time factor and accepted it because it was something I wanted to do.

You are correct about our wanting a quick fix for everything in our lives. Society and the media have severly distorted our concepts of body image and self-worth. Let's face it, to some, a man's penis is what makes him a man. Some beleive the larger the penis the more of a man. We all know that's not true, but when a large portion of the populous buy into this belief it's hard to ignore.

I have learned that being larger dosen't make me a better lover or person. If I decide to continue with it, it will be because it's something I want and not because I'm not capable of pleasing someone the way I am.

This is so true, and probably why Tex started the thread to start with... Society and Magazines, posing un-realistic pictures of men's bodies the way they should be "like yours" Just kidding on that one, but no, women should be size 0 and so every women who is in-secure starts "help how do I lose weight"... The boobs, they are too small, I just read an article that says men like bigger ones, pffftttt I say

I prefer big boobs but that's a personal preference. My current gf doesn't have big boobs at all and she is the sexiest girl I have ever dated and I have never been so physically attracted to anyone. Sure, big boobs are nice but it certainly does not matter in the long run. NOT ONE BIT!

I'm in exactly The same situation as you, I'm a boob man and my current GF is an A and the sex is amazing.

There's nothing wrong with preferences, women who prefer tall men don't get called shallow and rightly so.

Quality, not quantity - who cares about size!?

An "A" in bed then! That's what we're all looking for.

                  * hardbody. That comment your first wife made was OBVIOUSLY an attempt to kick you in the gut. Its about the only thing a vindictive or angry woman has in her arsenal that she could say that she knows without a doubt will cut a man down. Guys by and large have fairly high self-esteems, even the most unnattractive of men will feel they are suitable for a supermodel, etc But calling his manhood small is something thats going to get their attention, and crush their ego. So yeah, she was just being angry.

As for the 2 of you guys that are so attracted to and into your current smaller chested girlfriends...why even bother saying you PREFER larger breasts. Would it be enough to say you found large breasts attractive.. but you prefer the breasts of your super hot gf?

Meh. It just sounds so... cold. Yes people have preferences... but most times those preferences evolve to fit the person we fall in love with. If you were a shorter guy and your chick said she preferred taller men.. you'd feel less than.. so even though she presumably isn't reading your words... words carry weight even in your own mind.. so why not just try thinking you PREFER her boobs? .... just a thought. But it seems like if you walk around carrying the mentality that you PREFER something else that your significant other doesn't possess it will lead to disappointment.

I'm 5'6ish, taller in heels obviously... my boyfriend could tell me how much he loves me every minute and tell me im the hottest he's ever been with and that I am so sexy, but all it would take is ONE instance of him saying he PREFERS (as in currently prefers as you both spoke in present tense) women that are 5'2... there is not much else he could say to convince me he is truly happy with me.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

I agree with your points Hopeless Dork but, just to play devil's advocate, don't you think this level of honesty is helpful in a relationship? Rather than always noticing your guy ogle women with large breasts, in real life and in the media, and secretly wondering if yours are good enough, surely having that openness where he can say "I've always gone for women with big breasts but yours are just perfect for me"? It's straightforward and if you treat everything with this kind of straightforwardness and openness hopefully there would be no doubt in your mind that he meant it?... Just a thought, I'd be really interested to hear your response.
