Guest repliedLittle:I've seen and interacted with at least 10 but far less than 100 erect penises in my day - double digits. Excuse me while I swell with pride. All different shapes and sizes, I suppose up to around 9 inches and varying girths. I couldn't tell you stats on each penis, even though I'm sure every man supplied them. I probably couldn't even tell you whether most were large, average, or small.
Knowing sizes is probably best explained by human curiosity. But I guess it's a personal election to believe that people are in general good, no matter how curious they are. Just as we are not all totally innocent to sizing the things we see around us, we are not all size queens who refuse to sleep with a man under 23 inches long (and you newbies won't get that joke, but we 100% had a poster who insisted she was with men 23"+ all the time. Inches, not centimeters. Good times.)
Thanks for your reply – a really interesting and wise one!
Your reply, coupled with others, makes me think that the take home message thus far in this discussion is three fold
First, for most women, penis size is irrelevant, but there still is a curiosity element to it. That makes sense to me. Similarity, if some guy stated he really was over 9 inches, I would be curious to see it for myself and I do not think it would wound my view of my own manhood (meaning both my overall self esteem and what I have between the legs). I believe I have overcome an immature state of thinking I needed to be bigger to be a real man – but sadly many men (and some women) are still at this level of thinking/ego development. I can see how curiosity can be motivator to women who measured size and I can see how this can be done in a fun way – not a true belief way of finding out size to further outline that bigger is better. However, I can also see how men may not see this as women, which is simple curiosity and how some men – sadly - -would become mortally wounded if they can up short. It is something deeply ingrained in North American men.
With this said though, I can see how a woman could also use “simply curiosity” and “just fun” to really find out, also.
Second, your message about the women who would not sleep with a man under 23 inches, at least to me, underscores the notion that people make up size. And this is something I fundamentally think. In no way do I mean to put lizzard down – but I am certain that if her boyfriend was to be measured by researchers, it would probably be lower measurement than 9.5 inches. Maybe I am wrong, but study after study outlines that men and supporting girlfriends/wife overestimate size and then actually believe they are bigger than what they are. Part of the reason some normally sized men feel inadequate is because people tell their size, misjudge it as bigger and then tell others it as a fact.
Third, I really like your thought to assume that most people are good. Thanks for the reminder.
In trying to outline mixed messages I hope I was not making anyone feel “less than” and if so, please accept my apology. But I do think there are mixed messages and I do think that some posters felt uncomfortable with me outlining such mixed messages. And perhaps many of those mixed messages lies with simply human curiosity. Like I said, there is a part of me that would not want to see another man’s erect penis, but another part of me that would be curious related to seeing something mythical.Leave a comment:

Ah yes .... I remember quite well. Anonymous' drawing illustrating the issue was a hoot.Just as we are not all totally innocent to sizing the things we see around us, we are not all size queens who refuse to sleep with a man under 23 inches long (and you newbies won't get that joke, but we 100% had a poster who insisted she was with men 23"+ all the time. Sometime ago on a similar thread, I posted a world survey on men's sizes per country.
Maybe I should try to retrieve that
In any case the whole size discussion is so...misleading, and yet keeps polarizing the attention. Strange...Leave a comment:

I can put this nicely.. I am 6ft 7in, 390lbs, huge hands, size 14shoes... and I am NOT in the porn business. big hands and big feet do not mean big *****. therefore small hands and small feet does not mean small ***.
I will say that much....Leave a comment:

Guest repliedPerception and satisfaction is all that matters.
95% of the females I have been with brag or make comments on a nice size I have and how pleasing it is. My wife is the only person to ever say "it is alright, no biggy I been with alot bigger". LOL why is it sucha big deal to some, and not others.
I think that 6" to7" is normal, girth should make a difference though between pleasure or pain.
And how might a man who is smaller feel upon reading this post?Leave a comment:

If I follow your thinking – that all I need to know is one’s experience – I could find one person who smoked 3 packets of cigarettes a day who lived to 100 and could conclude that smoking does not have any relationship to cancer.
Perhaps you do not like the way the tread is going, I find it quite fascinating and have actually learned much related to (1) most women do not care about size (and a few do), (2) there can be some fun and curiosity related behavior related to size and that measuring may not be related to bigger is better and could be just a fun thing, and (3) some people are basing information based on indivudal experience, which begins and ends with oneself with no connection to broader knowedge.
I honestly find this thread quite fascinating and just because it does not jive with you is no reason to try to end it. I honestly do not see any put downs, I have sure learned much and find it interesting (and that is why I keep getting sucked back into it).Leave a comment:

I've tried to make light of this thread, but it appears really, anyone's answer is "no" followed by "maybe".
Then there are a few comments that are urking me one mainly being:-
? That's the second time you've addressed that. And, I can not see where it is conversation, rather replies that aren't being listened to, it's almost as if you are doing a survey and using this Forum to strengthen your resolve yet, the answer has been made very clear, thy penis is not a problem, no matter what size, the difference of feelings can vary from the way he moves it, where it reaches, his in-adequacy of knowledge, lustful stages of a relationship verses making love, to people clowning around and comparing because they are either horny and see a coke bottle that reminds them of their man's penis and the want of him, or the man himself jokes around, or tells her his size, or she in lust mucks around... There are "no" mixed messages.....My plan is to not spend as much time on post at this website because I am swamped in other areas of my life, like work and family. But I keep getting sucked into conversations.
You can not make blanket statements either, you yourself confirm you rarely watch porn, you are male, you don't go around checking out penises to see actual sizes but you read and research and read and research on the said subject as much as you do on breasts? In any event now you have a member telling you, she knows of a penis over 9 inches it is possible.
Claws welcome to the Forum
Exactly, doesn't our brain yurn knowledge? Didn't curiousity kill the cat? Because we have no idea what is in those pants when we first meet a guy and we are about to have sex for the first time, aren't we curious? They are all different after all
maleview
I often hear it cited that the g-spot is only 2-3 inches in and accessible for all, but if one or both have afew extra pounds, even a 5"-6" penis may have trouble reaching that depth in a lot of positions.I think maleview's paragraph is just common sense, off course if both parties or one is over weight it's harder to negotiate position......And, not everyone "studies" for answers most people learn through life experiences. And he is correct, most men are in the ballpark that is that most men are classified as 'average'...First, where are you getting your information regarding your last senetence?
ItsASecret
Exactly my thoughts.I think you over-thinking this to a huge degree. Maybe it is just me but you seem to continually try to find a different opinion on everything to say "but but no this cannot be true because ____ said this ______ and now this means there are different messages which does not make sense". If a woman says a number, say because she was taught in school how to visually size things, then she is saying the number...because that number is representative of what that object is and she knows what that number is. If someone asks "how big is that?" and the correct answer to the size of whatever object is 9.5 inches you say 9.5 inches. If a woman answers a number she is saying a number simply because she knows it (again say because her SO said the number to her already) and not always deriving some complex meaning behind it.
? Why.. We are who we are, ItsASecret has pointed out, that's how we all work, alot of us, using numbers how we were taught...Why the heck would I say oh he is around um vague thingy, in length? Or whatever, who the heck is going to understand me?So maybe some of the women here (and obviously men) need to stop staying exact sizes and only use vague language related to issue related to size. .
Lastly, pulling comments of posters who are having difficulty, in a good way or bad way, where those posters have just met someone, are in lust, getting used to each other's bodies, working out why this is occuring, enjoying obviously the lustful ride has nothing to do with your "mixed message" arguement which to me there is no arguement as there is no mixed messages. They are getting used to a new partner, new experiences, you are all different, you all move differently and that's just to start with.
I can see people quoting Geez, or is it just me or? Or man to man listen.....or no I never said that.
I'm not sure if this thread really needs to even continue...You yourself, said you don't really want to visit our site very much you're busy, yet your answers seem to be "no, we are wrong" why bother?
Little has to reply yet
Given you posed a question to her...But honestly, I'm not visiting this thread as a poster anymore, only for Moderation.
Whilst I have tried to make "light" of the initial question, I don't like the way in which people and this Forum are being basically "put down" as giving mixed messages when in reality they are just talking of their own personal experiences...
