As for touch, many guys have no idea how rough their hands are on tender flesh. Try using gloves, maybe stretchy nitrile will work, with enough lube. If she continues to complain and you are using enough lube, it may be something about her reaction.

I had a horrible heel spur a couple of years back. Ever since then I've been losing weight. It's for every one in my life, but I most certainly have selfish reasons.
